Idea that I have too many ocs to deal with

Yuu comes in to NRC as an average person, typical MC design. But during each overblot they get covered in blot, and it makes them feel off. Like they can feel it seep into them. They try to wash it off afterwards, even get the nurse’s help, but even when everything is visibly gone they still feel weighed down.
Then, starting the next day or so, something changes about them. They start to get slight changes in their personality and even a small appearance shift. It grows some throughout the next couple days, but never gets more than a slightly noticeable change. Until every OB starts adding up and you can tell they aren’t the same as the person in pictures from earlier in the year.
And at some point, probably around mid year, they notice something. They’ve gained their own magic. A magicless student no longer. But it’s not how magic is described by their peers or even by the classes they’ve taken. It’s weird. Reminiscent of the UMs of the OBers, but wrong. It’s as if it’s controlling blot more than anything.

My end idea is for them to be some kind of blot monster-human mix. Like their body from another world didn’t know how to handle blot and it just kind of absorbed it. Maybe MC even starts to gain black tipped fingers (or full limbs) or cry/bleed blot.
They’d probably have to deal a decent bit with the Shrouds because of STYX. Maybe they hide it or maybe Ortho picks up on them eventually (it’s a slow gradual change so it might take ortho until book 6 for plot reasons).
Would the effects of Malleus OBing boost their power drastically?? 💭 That’s terrifying to have one after the other
You could also have them fight Grim on the black rocks. Maybe Grim still gets them to have the plot move forward normally, maybe they split them, or maybe as the blot grows MC starts stealing them. Or they just have no interest in the rocks, but that’s not as fun. If theyre blot and Grim is changed to blot stones, could MC “infect” Grim? Would Grim be attracted to them like a black rocks? And ofc, this plus them becoming blot could lead to Grim plus them OBing and becoming incredibly dangerous, or if you don’t want to. Grim stays fine (he had all the rocks stolen from him) and MC overblots.

Idk how original this idea is, but if you use this as direct inspo for a character or something, it would be nice if you just add a credit tag or @. At the very least it would be cool to see what you do with it.
