Art & Fiber Research Blog Set Up
To get started in advanced fabric surface design this semester, the first step is to set up your own art & fiber research blog where you will post answers to weekly questions and many of your assignments. You are welcome to revamp the blog you used last semester, or create a new one. It's up to you. The important thing is that it is current to who you are today, not who you were last semester.
Please set up your research blog before we meet for class on Thursday.
Go to Tumblr.com and create an account if you do not have one already. Remember, to keep our class community safe and private, each of you will create a dedicated blog account for this class that is password protected.
A few things to think about when creating your blog…
Your advanced fabric surface design research blog should look and feel like you, so take some time to find a theme that expresses your vibe. No two blogs in our class community should look exactly the same!
Don’t share the link to your blog with folks outside our community. Your blog will be made available to other folks in our class so that we can follow along with each other as we explore fiber together, but it is not intended for the rest of the world yet. (After this course, you can change the settings to be whatever you want.)
