Rain, well, drizzle on and off all day but now it is really raining. It was warm so I put a bunch of my indoor plants out on the deck. They had a lovely time out there. Hubby retreated to his workshop and put the exhaust one the Mk1. He also built and installed the driveshaft. Then he started the car and put it into gear and drove it out of his workshop. It is the first time the vehicle has moved under its own power for 26 years.
Progress is also being made on modifying the Anglia seats to fit the Cortina. Hubby has been bending pipe and finding pieces of steel to use for the cross braces. He also finished the starter motor recondition. He just keeps chipping away at all the things that need doing.
