When Nezuko finished work that evening she bid farewell to the Florist and raced home to see her brother. The best part of her day was when she got to see him and so she skipped along the sidewalk, humming the tune to some song she’d heard playing in the shop earlier that day that had stuck with her. The place she worked at was located on a street that was lined with shops. Traffic tended to be heavy during certain times of the day at night, but right now there were hardly any cars going by. Even so, she would obey the rules of the road as dictated by her brother, who was very thorough about Nezuko being careful. 

The teen jammed her finger into the button on a pole at the crosswalk and watched the monitor on the other side of the street to change from a red hand to the picture of a white figure walking, a song played as it turned and Nezuko took the first step from the sidewalk out onto the street. While the young girl obeyed traffic laws one driver didn’t. It took a sharp turn from another street and just as Nezuko began to cross it hit her, knocking her down and driving over her legs just below her knees. The driver of the car came to a screeching halt, saw the state Nezuko was in and panicked, driving off without getting out to check on her.

Nezuko grunted. It hadn’t hurt but her legs were flattened, blood pouring out as her bones splintered off, poking out at odd angles. She grabbed at the ground and began to drag herself from out of the road, going back the way she came. She looked around to see if there was anyone around she could ask for help but there was no one around. “Nngh..” She feebly and weakly dragged herself down the sidewalk and pulled herself into an alley. The trail of blood left behind in her wake revealed in obvious path that any passerby would clearly notice and trace back to her.

Nezuko’s goal wasn’t to hide but to rest. The immense loss of blood was making her feel weak and light headed. If she waited just long enough everything would eventually put it back self together and she could try to go home again. With that thought in mind, the young girl pressed her back against the wall, her head drooping to the side as pink eyes were slowly obscured by her lids. She passed out there with her last thoughts being that she hoped she could see her brother soon.

[ I am terribly sorry to have to do this, but I will be dropping Rei Sakuma of Ensemble Stars. I had a lot of fun weaving stories together with others here, but unfortunately writing just feels more like a chore than a hobby lately. If I ever get my groove back I hope that I will be accepted here again. I have spoken with Blue to transfer UNDEAD clan to Nezuko and she will assume the role of King. Thank you again. ]

Love Bites // Touko & Sakuma

Touko had seen him on the news in passing but it wasn’t anything that she cared about. Idols and boy bands weren’t to her liking.. The only way she would ever care is if it were research and wouldn’t you know there was a serious boon in korean boy band popularity? Touko had made the suggestion sarcastically, but her editor swallowed it up. How perfect! She said. Make a brainless, dimwitted main character that all the stupid girls could see as a self insert to pair with one of their korean idols! She said. 

“Ugh...” There was an idol group that was quite popular in Shizume who were locals. It was a group called UNDEAD. All the boys were stupidly good looking.. None stuck out more than the lead Rei Sakuma. That wasn’t who Touko had her eye on.. but someone else. That other part of her who happened to take an interest in hot guys just like that. 

The more Touko researched, the more that information gathered up and piled up on her desk.. She was bound to notice and take an interest. What a fool she was. She should have known better. 

So deep into the evening, one Genocider Syo stalked her delicious prey. Those shaggy black locks.. Those deep, crimson red eyes.. She could get lost in those eyes. That color suited him the most. Wouldn’t he look absolutely gorgeous painted in red?! Ugh, she just wanted to cut open that manly neck of his. 

“Good evening~!” she called out in chipper, singsong voice. She curtsied, grabbing the ends of her long pleated skirt and pulling the ends out as she placed one foot in front of the other. It would have looked so noble if it hadn’t been for that long tongue of hers hanging out of her mouth like a horse in heat. “I’ve got a space on my thigh just for you~ GEHAHAHAHA!” 

She laughed maniacally, reaching under her skirt and pulled out her Genoscissors, she tossed them at Sakuma like darts and he was the board. But the scissors were only a distraction as she lunged for him, her hands never emptying of the scissors as she closed the distance between them, the sharp edge of her nose aiming straight for Sakuma’s throat.
