As we all prepare to explore the world of @eldenring in 2020, this magnificent tome arrived and I thought I’d share a story. Four years ago I set myself the ambitious task of writing a #HidetakaMiyazaki compendium — complete with King’s Field and other titles as well! Utterly comprehensive. I even managed to show a #workinprogress version to @vaatividya himself at a @bandainamcous event in Sydney for the launch of @darksoulsgame #DarkSouls3. Alas, life and other things got in the way, but now I sit with this all-encompassing portal into the #darksoulstrilogy, and I couldn’t be happier :) I still may be that madman who one day does indeed compile an annotated book of all the man’s works, in a few decades from now — The #BloodborneTrilogy, the #EldenRingTrilogy and #SekiroTrilogy as well perhaps?
