Not very long considering she usually has an outfit picked out the night before. It’s just a habit she picked up to save herself time in the morning for more important task as she usually busy in the mornings anyway. Even if she didn’t do that, she’s not particular on spending too much of her time trying to figure out what she needs to wear for the day.

With letter in hand, she read it over not just once, not just twice, but thrice and still, she cannot believe the timing. Rubbing the temple of her head with her index finger and thumb, she wondered if Rose would be upset. However, when duty called, she would answer without fail. It was in her being to, regardless of her own desires to stay.  

Crumbling the note in her hand, she stuffed it elsewhere and out of her sight. Right now, Reyna would take time given to her and spend it with the girl. No sense in bringing up the news until later. A good day, that’s what she wanted. Just one...

Heading out, it didn’t take long to find Rose, a smile already forming on Reyna’s face.

“Keeping yourself busy, my little rosebud?” A tease, a jest, it’s how she showed her affection for the young girl. One hand on her hip, Reyna’s smile formed into a grin. “Not getting into trouble, I hope. It’d be a shame if I had to eat by my lonesome because someone was grounded.”

“So -” A gloved hand stroked the book lying on his lap. “You don’t remember anything do you?” Nostalgic eyes scanned over the scene before him. The wind seraph before him - an echo of his best friend. A figure who looked liked her and sounded like her but the memories fleeting as the winds that guided her.

“Do you ever wish you had those memories back? Knew the Rose that came before?” He constantly thought of the alternate beginning of his new self. Waking up like her. No memories of what had come before. A tabula rasa - blank slate. A complete rebirth.

But -- they could always make new memories. At least he hoped in his and his squire’s case. He felt responsible for her. His memories and feelings for his friends remained the same. He hoped she would accept this new companionship. He didn’t want to completely abandon her again.
