The Forge | Hephaestus & Aphrodite

Hephaestus when not at council in the throne room, could be found either in his palace or the forge, working on various projects at the same time. Already had he been graced by the presence of a brother earlier when Hermes requested he'd fix his winged helmet, it having malfunctioned on his last trip to Hades. And perhaps it came as more as a blessing than he had realized at the time, seeing as how he had halted his progress at another trap for his wife and their generally disliked brother, Ares. 

All evidence of this trap was gone, his working table adorned with tiny pieces of metal, celestial gold and tiny mechanisms that would leave none the wiser of his plan for his adulterous wife. Still, it came as a surprise to see her here now and with a barely noticable smirk, the God lifted his gaze to meet hers. "To what do I owe the pleasure?" 

Never before had Aphrodite visited him here, and he could not deny that his curiosity burned. "Does your girdle need replacing so soon?"

Lol, I so know what you mean. I used to have over two bookcases of my books, but with the last move so much stayed behind. I always have books scattered around the house though. Like I have one in my car, one in my bag, one in the kitchen for when i'm eating, one in the bedroom and even on the toilet, and i'll like read several pages of this book there and then that book there. Or I'll get so caught up, I walk around with my nose in the book and keep running into stuff... 

I have a dozen waiting on my laptop in pdf tho, like the divergent ones and more vampire academy. But I'll look for percy jackson too now. When i read e-books i tend to finish faster these days because my laptop has sorta taken over my life, it seems.
