Dawn was adopted into the Bloom household as a child. While in the orphanage she was very shy and didn’t talk much to the other kids. She was alienated both for her looks and because of her magic. Because of this she preferred to stay under the radar and be on her best behavior. Once becoming a member of the Bloom Family, her rebellious side came out. She was finally accepted and felt comfortable enough to practice her magic openly. She had access to the best materials and became interested in alchemy, even trading tips with her great-great grandmother. Witch, alien, labels don’t matter to Dawn, she’s one of a kind.

Oleander, Ollie, was the first born of seven children. Being the first child, he was a very spoiled little kid but never let that get to his head. His best friend is his adopted sister Dawn, who is the same age. They had a strong bond form through playing video games together and being the eldest. Ollie’s love for video games never dwindled and eventually evolved into an appreciation of all technology. He’d be happy spending the rest of his life tinkering with electronics and brushing cats.
