hi dolls , we hope your day has been lovely, wherever you may be ! i’m dropping in with a couple reminders in regards to our guidelines & activity rules ! please make sure to give this post a like once you’ve read through it.

in keeping with point 011 of our guidelines, we have a limit of 1 selfie per week ( including reblogs, intros and gif sets ). since a week is different for each muse, we consider a week 7 days from the last time your muse posted a selfie. we have one exception to this rule, which is in regards to special occasions ( ie awards shows or birthdays ). 

as a general refresher, activity on the main dash is a priority ! original posts from your muse and interaction ( likes or replies ) made on posts made by other muses on the dash are the two things we look for when we’re performing activity checks. ( note : selfies and reblogs are not considered towards activity ) our goal with bloom is to maintain the dash as a welcoming and interactive space for everyone, and this, in part, is achieved by ensuring all muses are branching out !

if there are any questions or points you may need clarified, please do not hesitate to reach out ! as always, we are available best through tumblr im and will respond as quickly as possible. thank you everyone !

hi angels ! we’d first like to mention that we’ve very much appreciated everyone who’s joined us here at bloom talent and made running this group a fun , creative experience ! your participation and friendliness made the site feel like a community and speaking not only as mods , but writers too , we couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable group to be apart of . 

unfortunately , after days of deliberation , we’ve decided that the time has come to close bloom’s doors . this hasn’t been an easy decision for us to make , as we know many writers here feel at home ( including ourselves ) ! however , with increasing demands in our lives outside of rp , we don’t know that we’d be able to dedicate the time we were previously able to .

this will be our final update , but you may continue to post in character if you wish or post any ooc notes or goodbyes ! we want to say thank you again and we wish you all the best , each & every one of you !

hi everyone ! i’m dropping in with a reminder that following the holidays, we have since resumed regular activity checks. our goal with bloom is to build a communal, friendly space, and ( as with any group ) collective participation and activity are integral to that. 

as a refresher for how we determine activity, we’re looking for a combination of original content ( primarily, text posts ) as posted by your muse, as well as interaction with text posts made by other muses. replies are ideal, but a like can go a long way and make others feel more included on the dash space ! we consider both likes and replies to posts as interaction. ( note : reblogs and selfies are not factored towards activity ) 

we understand that writers have different schedules, and fluctuating time for rp ! we have no expectations that everyone will be available to be on the dash daily. however, we ask that when you are on, that you are making an effort to have your muse interacting . bubble rping ( posting for and interacting exclusively with a small group of muses ) is mentioned in our guidelines and highly discouraged. interacting with friends and closer connections is inevitable, but please be remembering to have your muse branching out on the dash, too !

side blog activity is the last note on activity. we know updating side blogs can be an easy thing to forget, but we require an update every 2 weeks ! any bit of insight into your muse’s life helps our gossip blog in including your muse in deuxmoi updates & blind items. 

i’m going to wrap this ramble up by saying thank you ! we’re approaching our 4 month anniversary since bloom’s doors opened and that’s really exciting for us ! we couldn’t have gotten here without everyone’s involvement :`)

hi everyone ! we weren’t wishing to publicize this, but we can’t ignore what has transpired on the dash. in short, we had received complaints from multiple writers concerning their past interactions with a writer new to the group. when members contact us with concerns ( which is, very honestly, rare ! ), we discuss them thoroughly as a mod team to determine the best course of action. we do our best to decide, collectively, what’s most fair in considering members comforts. 

our goal with bloom, as it always has been, is to maintain a safe and interactive space for everyone ! writers are welcome any time to approach us. thank you to all of you ( newer and older members alike ! ) for doing your part ! it may sound cheesy, but bloom being the communal and supportive space it is wouldn’t be possible without you. thank you again !

hi angels ! i’m popping in with two small reminders, both pertaining to side blogs. as per our guidelines, we require side blogs to be updated at least once every 2 weeks. these don’t need to be substantial entries, but anything that might give us a glimpse into your muse’s life ! secondly, if i could ask all of you to check your muse’s name is on their side blog ( in the title or description, preferably ). it helps the gossip blog mods tremendously to know which side blogs belong to which muses. thank you all again for your participation with us and with bloom !!

hey little sunshine babes, we have a quick favour to ask of you all ! it is, of course, not mandatory, but when updating your characters sideblogs if you could try and include names in posts about specific people that would be great. it would help the gossip blog out a lot for our blind items, deuxmoi’s and all other games in the future. seeing as sideblogs are private and only to be shared at your discretion, there’s no need to be shy. don’t forget if there’s anything you don’t want the gossip blog using, feel free to tag it so we don’t share any sensitive information. thank you !

hi everyone ! we’d like to apologize for bloom tv having been rather quiet these past few days. our mods have been a bit swamped with real life obligations, but the good news is : we’ve got some new ideas for all of you ! in addition to the deuxmoi style “ buzz ” posts and blind items, we’re going to be introducing some more interactive features ( games, pr stunts, & advice ). as we introduce new items to bloom tv, we’ll explain how we intend for them to work, so keep your eyes peeled ! in the meantime, we encourage everyone to keep posting in their side blogs. the more your muses have to share ( even if it’s vague ! ), the more our gossip mods have to work with ! thank you !

hey sweet beans. i just wanna make a quick note and let you guys know we made a couple of amendments to our rules today ! the first is from here on out we will be allowing only two muses per writer. if you currently have 3 characters don’t worry you’re off the hook but in the future please keep this in mind ! also we’re going to be only allowing one selfie per week ( gifs and reblogs included ) to allow room for more original posts to be made and interacted with. i understand sometimes our muses do something exciting and we want to post about it, but if you’ve already posted a picture in the last 7 days, please try and refrain ( some exceptions may be made if it’s big news for your character ) ! thank you kindly & please give this a like when you’ve read it.
