whoops hanakotoba fantasy/rpg au (kind of)
ok so the blooming kingdom is this really big kingdom full of flowers and stuff and is ruled by Queen Lilia, Queen Rosa, and Queen Irisia, who used to be really famous and amazing adventurers and stuff like that and now they rule the kingdom
one young guard who they've taken quite a liking to for no discernable reason, Mimi Kurumi, a Belltier with the air of a princess. she gets sent from Hanano Castle on a mission off to the town of dandelions, Fuwafu Village, to take care of a monster infestation problem and gets roped into a series of events that ends with them fighting the goddess of destruction who attempts to destroy Yggdrasil. Also there's lesbianism and "Hot Orc Monthly"
SO HERE COMES THE FUN PART
i imagine it'd play like a combination of a Tales game and the Atelier games? like overworld exploration is that of Tales and even has the cute little mini-cutscenes and the monster blobs that are actually like four but the combat is turn-based and revolves around having only three active party members
the classes are Belltier, Winnmite, and Sentie, and they're not as weird as they sound. Belltiers are jacks-of-all-trades (trades being close combat, magic, and alchemy) but usually specify close combat and alchemy, while Winnmites are mostly magic-based but with decent close combat, and Senties revolve around magic as well but with a larger emphasis on alchemy.
Mimi is a human Belltier and her Primary Weapon (aka the weapon she starts with) is the Blossom Rapier and her Ultimate Weapon is the Aschenputtels Folie Rosa (which is also a rapier) (she also gets a joke weapon that is the Yuri Grimoire that renders any enemy that gets hit with it 'Charmed')
Glompy is a nekomata Winnmite and his Primary Weapon is Mjolnir's Cousin (which is a large mallet that becomes a staff depending on the attack) and his Ultimate Weapon is Donner Schwanensee (which is also a large malletstaff) (and his joke weapon is the Hot Orcs Monthly Omnibus that Enrages foes and lowers their defense)
aaand Shironia is a raijin Sentie and her Primary Weapon is the Staff of Sky (which is a staff with the raijin drums looping around it) and her Ultimate Weapon is the Schicksal Schneewittchens (which is simply the drums that she wields like a floating chain now (think any of the rosaries from okami) (and her joke weapon is the Bird Gun. it's a minigun that shoots birds. the birds are unharmed but still.) She is also the only character who can summon things, namely a cardboard cutout bird that has a chance to kill any and all threats to Shironia on the field.
also all the different ocs make it in the game as npcs. like the sweet boys run a bakery cafe, the blooming girls run a flower shop/armory, the summertime days cures own a card shop, all that.
the game also kind of plays like persona!! not really, but you can choose to hang out with particular people and that'll boost their performance in battle or they'll give you a rare item or maybe even unlock their ultimate weapon!! also cute cutscenes are cute and at one point along shironia's storyline you find glompy's stash of Hot Orcs Monthly magazines and unlock some ~SECRET CGS~ (all of which are Mimi, Shironia, and the cardboard cutout staring at you condescendingly)
