I honestly don’t even know what to post today, after yesterday’s shameful insurrection and domestic terror at the Capital. Pandemic check-in: How’s everybody doing? When all my speaker coaching work stopped in early March, we had to clamp down on unnecessary spending, like flowers from Trader Joe’s. I vowed to keep a bouquet going from our yard, which I did consistently every week up until now. It was a way of centering myself, finding beauty, appreciating where I am on the planet and the many, many gifts in my life. Plus, they often smelled lovely too. One of my favorite quotes is “bloom where planted.” It is important to flourish no matter what space you are in. As you can see, the painting is chaotic with plants and blooms that cover the letters.
