Faith hoped she got up quietly as to not wake Jason up, this year she was going to treat him because she wanted to and with all that he's had to deal with it, she felt he needed to be pampered just a bit more than she did. They did have the house to themselves for the day since Max went elsewhere.
She went into the kitchen to start making his Jason's favorite breakfast foods, still hoping he either stayed asleep or at least stayed in the bed as to not accidently ruin her bringing it to him.
Once she was just about finished, she found a little tray she could use and got that ready.
(leaving some room for whatever Jason decides. )
Jason’s sleep hadn’t been dreamless, but this time it didn’t feel like it’d had been nightmares. It was one of those nights where he actually got sleep, something that’s becoming rarer these days. He’d felt movement on the bed briefly, but only partially woke up before falling back asleep. He didn’t know how much time passed before he started to wake up. Something smelled good.
He rubbed his eyes and rolled over. Faith wasn’t in bed. Had he slept in? That was a nice change of pace. He let out a sigh, debating going back to sleep, but he heard some footsteps. Looking at the door, he smiled when he saw Faith and… was that a tray or food? It looked like his favorite. He sat up a bit, smiling at her.
“Well this is a surprise,” he said, the smell of the food alone waking him up and putting him in a good mood for the morning.
