she left early in the morning giving her brother the idea that there was an urgent mission awaiting her for, that she promised to be back in time for dinner. though, little did he know, she was retrieving the present she prepared for him — a gift she'd been saving for with her mission wages.

knowing her mother had prepared a special birthday lunch, inviting satsuki's friends over, the girl had a feeling that her brother would be a little down knowing his sister couldn't make it. but she snuck back to their apartment, sakura whispering into her ear that satsuki was in his room.

she places down the gift next to her, on the ground, before giving a knock on his door. when he opens it, a bright smile curls on her lips.

          “ surprise. ” she says, giving her brother a hug once he greets her. “ i know i said i was going to go on a mission, but i wanted to surprise you. i have a gift for you, ” she says, kneeling on the ground.

the sister turns to the side, grabbing hold of her a gift. facing her brother, she holds out a wooden nest she'd bought from the local pet store. inside, an adorable baby rabbit, almost snow white in color. she always knew he wanted one, since they were young.

          “ i talked to mama, and she and i think you're ready to have one. ”  a nod. “ happy birthday, little brother. ”

      The sun was going down, and with their Chunin Exams nearing— his words were needed. To know she had her teammates by her side, being her best friends, it comforted her thoughts, helping her feel more excited than nervous. It's been like this since they were kids, and fate so happened to bring them together as a team. Himawari valued her friends, her family— they were what kept her going, and Satsuki was no exception.

             She takes his hand into hers, lips curling into a sunbright smile. " I'll always have your back, Suki-kun. Let's do our best ! "

You are so passionate about writing her and give her all the credit she deserves and it’s so perf, your portrayal is fantastic and you know what you’re doing and wow!!       With his mother and sister both out of town, her friend was left in their family's care for the day. Once she saw him from the window, she immediately ran to greet him once Hinata welcomed him into their home.
