Summer began to slip-slide away faster than this lobster roll in my hands. If this was a better picture, I would have posted this review sooner, but I hemmed and hawed over whether to even bother. Lobster rolls are best eaten and photographed in natural lighting, so my apologies for this crummy photo made in the dark of the night at BLT Fish. The harsh camera flash highlights this lobster roll's flaw: too much mayo. I have no complaints about the flavor. The meat was fresh and succulent. What brought this roll down a star or two was the feeling I was trying to grab a wet trout rather than a sandwich. As I dined, I felt at any moment the evening could take a Three Stooges turn: while trying to get a grip on the slimy hot dog bun, the roll would shoot out of my hands, fly across the room and hit an elderly dowager in the eye, setting off a chain of events that would ban me from restaurant forever. Halfway through the meal, I knew I'd never come back, so I kinda wished that would've happened.
