Introducing... BLUE

ahem, yes. Here we have 2 blue aragonites in all their vivid chalky glory. Along with a blue amazonite "merkaba star", a dyed blue onyx mini tower, and a fun blue vintage key!

✨ Blue aragonite is formed through a process called precipitation. It is usually formed in marine environments, where calcium-rich water reacts with dissolved carbon dioxide to form calcium carbonate. As the calcium carbonate settles and accumulates, it forms sedimentary rock. Over time, the sedimentary rock undergoes pressure and heat, which causes the aragonite crystals to form✨

🌿 The stone is known for inspiring people to learn more about themselves so that they can gain insight into their own personal journeys. It is also said to promote creativity and help to bring about new ideas. Blue Aragonite can be used in meditation or placed in an area of the home where you would like to encourage positive energy flow🌿

Tiger’s Eye and Apricot Agate

These are redesigned versions of my old Tiger’s Eye and Botswana Agate (now Apricot). They’re in a romantic relationship but remain unfused, and have jobs in Little Homeworld. Apricot has her own garden where she grows and sells flowers, while Tiger’s Eye runs a physical training center for gems to release tension:)

Larimar and Paraiba Tourmaline

These gems are also redesigned versions of some older oc’s, with Larimar now resembling the old uncorrupted version of canon Larimar, and Paraiba (who used to be Watermelon) now being blue and having the correct gem cut! I headcanon that they own an arts and crafts studio in Little Homeworld:))

Blue Aragonite and Calcite

Blue Aragonite and Calcite are two of the original Crystal Gems. Aragonite (yes, I know the art book has her under Blue Chalcedony, but chalcedony is a quartz,,,) was around the fifteenth gem to join the rebellion, while Calcite was around the tenth. They were captured and used to power Homeworld tanks on the battlefield, and remained in the tanks until they were found between the events of Change Your Mind and the movie. They now live happily in Little Homeworld! They’re also based off of gemstones I own + and I was watching Hercules when I drew Calcite so I took some inspiration from that too:))

Chrome Diopside and Apatite

Chrome Diopside and Apatite were gems who lived in an abandoned colony in a run-down ship, and were exiled due to what Chrome did— she dug burrows to hide off-colored gems. Apatite helped her escape but the ship was shot down, crash landing on the surface of a strange planet. They were found by Steven as he was liberating all colonies and now live back in Homeworld:))
