Last October-ish I read the Blue Devil comic from 1984 on the DC Universe app and had a pretty good time of it so I did a bunch of fan art at the time. The original run's premise of 'he's not actually a real devil, just a guy magically stuck in a suit' was a lot more funny/interesting to me than a few years later when other writers decided 'Let's just literally make him a real devil.'
I really want a reboot of the comic with the same weird, goofy, lighthearted tone as the original because uh. As it stands most other appearances I've read or skimmed through really like to make my boy's life suffering 🥲
And a bonus: since Constantine and Blue Devil were occupying quite a bit of my headspace at the time(Constantine still is, if we're being honest orz) I thought it'd be fun to draw a fusion of the two 😆
