I've been filming myself scraggling along with scales for the last few weeks so I could see if I was actually making progress and it's nice to hear a change (albeit microscopic) in how scraggy I'm playing. I am frustrated with myself 100% of the time and super embarrassed that I've had guitars since like grade eight and this is how far along I am but it really is rewarding to check yourself and learn or relearn a thing. It is very slow going. I barely have time to practice and am just kind of dumb at instruments in general so it's taking me a hundred years but it's worth it.
