I've been filming myself scraggling along with scales for the last few weeks so I could see if I was actually making progress and it's nice to hear a change (albeit microscopic) in how scraggy I'm playing. I am frustrated with myself 100% of the time and super embarrassed that I've had guitars since like grade eight and this is how far along I am but it really is rewarding to check yourself and learn or relearn a thing. It is very slow going. I barely have time to practice and am just kind of dumb at instruments in general so it's taking me a hundred years but it's worth it. If you want to learn guitar and not be made to feel like you're an idiot but have your teacher actually highfive you about the most minuscule achievements, go see @codyshreed at @bluehourstudio.
