Okay I just read Chapter 355 of bllk and I noticed that they kept saying "Zero to One" and "One to Infinity", so I just wanted to write down what I think it means now so I don't forget later LOL

We see Fox refer to himself as "the one who turns zero to one". While his players just say "one to infinity" (usually before or after they make a good play), not in regards to themselves like their coach, but in regards to what they're all setting out to do.

As we can see from England's playstyle, formation, and even the behaviours of the players, we can tell that the England team is ran in a military type fashion. Answering "yes, sir" to Fox and even fellow players, taking orders without a second thought, repeating phrases like robots that have only been programmed to say one sentence, and even their formation working as a hyper defensive super soldier.

I feel like when Fox says that he is the one that turns one into zero, he is essentially saying that he is the foundation of all their plays, not as a player, of course, but as their pupeteer.

Just as all puppet shows start with the moving of the puppeteer's fingers, all plays start with him and his goals in mind (aka zero to one), and their job is to take his goals fulfill them beyond the imagination (one to infinity). They don't need their own ego, they just need his.

The team doesn't revolve around the captains like all the other teams we've seen so far, they revolve around Fox and his control. He'll kick the ball, it's their job to keep it rolling, figuratively speaking.

In my mind he is the opposite of Ego in regards to his players. Where Ego says that all their achievements are theirs and their failures are his, Fox takes his players achievements as his own and all failures are failures of the players to turn a one into infinity.

They are not players there to make a name for themselves, they're simply his puppets to turn his one into infinity.

Side note: I refer to the team in this but I'm mostly talking about Teddy. I just referred to the team because I'm assuming for now that they operate under a similar philosophy
