My lovely Blue Topaz finally has a formal stats sheet (and an askblog, go check out @blue-topaz-askblog )! She is my favorite gemsona (don't tell Aventurine) because we would be kindred spirits and it's very easy to see things through her eyes. On to the stats! Strength- Tope is not a heavy hitter. But she will not hesitate to use all her strength on a problem. Agility- She is about as fragile as spun glass and could not even come close to Pearl's agility in a fight. Confidence- Because she was told from the day she was made that she is worth more than others, she is quite self-assured. Willpower- With her book smarts she will conquer literally any problem set before her. Social Skills- Reserved and detached is usually her modus operandi, but she's not a hermit. Charisma- She has never charmed her way into what she wants, but many people have a soft spot for her as she goes out of her way to find a solution to other people's problems. Creativity- She paints, she draws, she is generally skilled, but most of it comes from her extensive knowledge of art forms created by other people. Empathy- She was never really empathetic until she met the Crystal Gems. On Homeworld, most upper-class gems are not big on empathy. It's not what they do. Humor- Almost never. Only if you're really, really close to her. In the span she lived in Blue Diamond's court (10,000 years) she made about 10 jokes. Discipline- She had everything handed to her for over 10 millennia but she's used to solving problems with her wits and strength alone. Intelligence- She has practically lived in the library for her entire lifetime. She knows pretty much everything there is to know about everything. This comes in handy when you encounter new situations. Most experiences are not unfamiliar to you when you've at least read about them. Perception- One of her gem powers is actually enhanced awareness. She can hear people very far off, can smell better, sense a person's feelings, etcetera. Luck- Besides being born well, she's not terribly lucky. That's okay. She gets by. Skill/Special- She has pretty epic mist powers. She can create all types of mist- her monster-fighting specialty is poisonous mist that blinds them, she has an almost opaque mist, and can even use mist to create a diversion by sending a weird-smelling fog near an enemy.
