What’s up Blue? How’s life out of the blog?

Hey there, Swifty! Thanks for the lovely little message you sent, everything is going well, I promise, even if things are still a little on the slow front. Between Europe’s latest heatwave, job seeking, family care and house renovations, my attention has been admittingly divided as of late even though I am still firmly into One Piece! It’s been hard to focus on anything of decent length and tumblr’s recent bugs have been a ball ache to say the least, so in other words, it’s a been a bit of an unintentional hiatus. I thank you for this question though, and hope you’re all enjoying the summer and managing to keep cool and happy. My biggest issue as of today is getting woken up at 5:30am by the local crow gang so it’s been a loooooong day!

I has a question... If you could go in the one piece world, what would you do? What powers would you have? (Like supernatural or devil fruit or maybe both also haki?) Would you be a Marines or a Pirate? Would you tell them you're from a different universe or lie and say you were born there? Would you change the main story or keep it the way it is? What kind of bounty would you have? What I'm asking is, can you make a short story if you were ever stuck in the one piece and can't come back.

In all honesty, I’d probably freak the fuck out and not in a good way because even though I haven’t caught up fully yet, that world is DANGEROUS and I’d miss my family and chums back home. What would I even begin to do in a situation like that? Probably try and get some help or understand where I am, and powers… well, if I couldn’t get a Devil Fruit then maybe I’d brush up on my cooking and work at a bar. I’m not clever, fit or strong enough to be either a Marine or a Pirate but if things changed and I got the type of body that worked in that world, maybe I’d run along with whatever group I liked?Let it be said that I make some VERY questionable choices and would probably die within the first few days. I genuinely thought Jesus Burgess was a nice fucking person because of his smile and fun-loving attitude so that probably wouldn’t work out well if I trusted somebody that evil just because I liked the look of them or something. I would never say I was from another world; god knows what they do to crazy people in that world so I’d probably just pretend to have amnesia and it might work because not knowing so much about the OP world? I would NOT change the story at all, not even for the really hard choices like being able to save Rosinante as that was necessary for Law to experience and become the man he needed to take down Doflamingo.Bounty? Maybe if I dined and dashed from restaurants as I’d have no money but I’d probably get my arse handed to me for doing that. It would just be a really bad experience but if luck worked out well and SOMEHOW I got a Devil Fruit, I’d probably join up with somebody that I liked and just… do little things in the background wondering if I’ll ever get home again.

Thank you so much for the lovely message, it’s appreciated and I’ve been wondering that question myself because while the match up requests are fun to do, it seems that a lot of people don’t seem to like them very much despite being one of the most requested types of asks so I’m honestly at a loss on what to do from now on regarding them? Match up mundays seemed like a fun event to hold but having activity slowed down as it currently is, I may have to switch them to being a follower event like some people do right now? It’s hard to say, and I’m hesitant to make promises since I can’t seem to keep those very well as of late.

Hi. Sorry to bother you, but can you do headcanon for Law, Kidd, Ace and Marco cheated on they're s/o for months thinking they weren't beautiful or strong enough to keep up with them. Forcing them to leave their crew, then they realize the girls they're with now are really rude to the crew members, stealing, lying and cheated on them. And now determined to find they're s/o for two years, finding her on an island and realize she has depression and now have scar from herself and from others too.

Hi there, @saltypaperpastafan! You’re not a bother at all, and honestly, I do like the sound of this ask but personally I think it’s a bit beyond my capabilities to write? Cheating is a hard concept for me for personal reasons and with many of the characters you mention, I have a really hard time envisioning they’d do something as awful as that? Kid maybe, but Law, Ace and Marco… I really don’t know, dude. I’ll think about it for a while, because it is a genuinely interesting topic and I’m all for that angst, but honestly, it might be something I’m not capable of writing for reasons mentioned and if you’re really desperate, there are better headcanon blogs who may be able to handle this in a manner more to your liking? Again, I’ll think about it but if not, you’re welcome to come back with another request at any time!

Who doesn’t love this guy??? In all honesty, I was not expecting to fall in love with Corazon so much while getting back into One Piece over the last couple or so weeks, and of course, I had to like the guy who died one of the most saddest and unfair deaths next to Ace.
