Erik sighs softly. This was starting to get ridiculous and Erik was starting to wonder just how much abandonment Loki has gone through to warrant this kind of reassurance. Even Charles, with all this wisps of hope, wasn’t like this. He glances over at the other before glancing back out the window of the parlor, swallowing down another sip of the scotch in his glass. “We are friends Loki. I don’t know how many times you need me to say this. Once a friend always a friend, just ask Charles.”

if there’d ever been a time to start singing ‘papa, can you hear me?’ then that time is now. he’s not exactly sure why the sudden urge rises in him ( MAYBE HE DIDN’T READ THAT COMIC ) but it takes every inch of the very small amount of willpower that he has in him not to burst into song the very moment that he sees loki. 

he manages it, but only just, and instead a question falls from his lips. his willpower can only be stretched so far and in order to tamper down on one impulse, another one has to burst forth.

        ‘ IF YOU’RE part frost giant, shouldn’t you be chill with this weather? hah. get it? chill? ‘cause of the frost giant thing? ’ 

he brings his hand up to wipe an imaginary tear away from his eye, apparently finding the whole situation funnier than anyone else. which is always the way, unfortunately. no-one seems to appreciate his sheer comedic genius, and quite frankly, it’s a crime.
