I think your dad is your best bet because he at least tries.

Out of the two of them? I agree that Dad’s the best choice. But, I don’t even know if I want him there? I mean, I know it’s meant to be a teaching lesson, so people would expect some level of ignorance? But I’m also super worried about what he might say or do???

Are you allowed to bring more than one person? Bring a friend for emotional and physical support and your dad so he can begin to learn and understand? If you can get your dad on board, he would most likely be the best way to help your mom discuss her feelings and help her come to an understanding?

As far as I know I’m only allowed to bring one person. But, maybe I can ask and be like “I’m super worried about my Dad and I don’t really know how to cope, so could I bring an emotionally/physically supportive friend?” 

But, I don’t think he’d be all that much help with my mom because she just flat out refuses to talk about anything without yelling at me. And apparently she’s always been someone to pretend like nothings changed, so I really don’t know what to do about her :/

Butterfly: Tell me about any collections you currently maintain.Well it’s not current, but I used to buy and trade a lot of comic books. Mostly DC~ From time to time when I get the chance I still make purchases and follow up on series. (It’s just not convenient for me anymore in my country.) Right now I’m hoarding up a lot of BTS merch (omg)!
