“What made you suddenly so attracted to Viperion?”

“I don’t know, Luka! I just knew, okay?” Chat answered, unsure of his own response. He felt it was the right one though. “Is it because of Ladybug always rejecting me? But I felt ...something... when Viperion came to join us in that fight.”

Chat thought he was only sexually attracted to women, but maybe it was a thing about a close relationship instead? Maybe just biromantic but still very attracted to girls? Jeez; and the thought being a teenager was bad enough -- especially with a rising libido!

Oh boy... Please don’t let it be the Cat Miraculous’ doing! He’s horribly unlucky as it stands now!

Heart racing, Chat lightly clasped the golden bell at his neck. How would his father find it? Unbelievable enough with him being a super hero and all, but possibly bi? He could already hear his father’s voice in his head: “Unacceptable. Find yourself a wife. Go on with this charade in your own time, but your studies and social life come first.”

“My father’s gonna kill me if he finds out. Probably not just figuratively.” Chat muttered, slumping down to the floor. “He doesn’t accept anything less than perfect and stuff like this would be a flaw in his eyes.”

Not often did Plagg drift away from Adrien but lately Plagg couldn’t take much of his miraculous holder. So when the chance came up to get some air himself that chance was taken. It was easy, much more easier then it should have been. Since he was currently tucked away between heaps of clothing. Another photo shoot, modeling gig, Plagg didn’t care to remember to much. Especially so since the other miraculous holder were in the area. 

That was his plan. He was going to visit Tikki. Darting in and out of his hiding spots to jump into Marinette’s pink bag to talk to his sugar cube. That was going to happen until he realized his mistake and ended up bumping into someone. “Ouch.”  Floating away Plagg noticed blue hair first, a quick sniff as well told him who it was exactly, Luka.  

The bump seem to alert the other and Plagg had no where to hide. Maybe he should of waited until Marinette was closer but not it was to luck. He was the god of misfortune anyways.

In silence, would carnelian hues focus on the broken guitar, that had just struck her, only to split in half on contact, as if a rock had been met. 

The fact, he dared to slam such an instrument, on the akumatized being, just to have no effect in the end, was rather bold but indeed, dumb.

A fit of laughter occurs before eyes shifted to where Luka stood.

‘‘Did you lose your braincells along the way?’‘, a tease but malice rested in crimson optics, battle axe in grasp.

‘‘To hit the one hiding at your sister, you must be truly desperate to inflict pain to loved ones’‘, a threatening aura arose from the villainess.

IDIOT!

She knew about Juleka’s anxieties and said something so insensitive without even thinking!

“Juleka--” Marinette softly said, cutting herself off to properly think about how to say what she meant.

Marinette’s hand slowly found its way to Juleka’s shoulder, moving slowly and carefully until her palm touched the goth’s shoulder.

“What I mean is that... That your worth is something for you to decide on your own. To say something if you’re uncomfortable, scared or even just sad,” Marinette quietly said, being extremely careful about her next words. “We’re all human; even entitled and spoiled monsters like Chloe. We all handle things differently, you know?”

“Do you want to hang out sometime? Having a third party with us that can calm your nerves is okay too! Like Rose or your brother.” she offered, her face involuntarily turning a deep shade of red at the thought of Luka. “I care about everyone here, Juleka. Can I please use you as a model for a design I’m working on?”

“Just let me know when you’re uncomfortable and we can stop at any time at all, okay?”

Tangerine orbs met azure eyes, taking in the sight, that expressed displeasure, anger. While, it was nothing but understandable, now was not the time to be reckless or chase the culprit, harm had been done enough.

‘‘Please, don’t go’‘.

Juleka winced, body aching from the recent pain, digits trembling. 

‘‘It was me or a kid, i asked for this’‘, to save the child from imminent bullying from some older guy. 

This was but her decision; to take the blows for a little one. 

On one side, to tell Luka on whomst caused such damages, would have been plausible, unfortunately, the person name or clothings, she didn’t really paid attention.

‘‘Where’s the medical box?’‘, she had not seen it, in quite some time.

Wincing, Adrien rose to his damned feet, hissing in a breath so that he could balance properly against the wall.

“Not anymore, Luka. I quit.”

Really, the words came out faster than he could think. He did hate the job and most of his father’s assets went straight to him now that Hawk Moth had been caught and personally delivered to a high-security prison. By Chat Noir -- by him.

His mind back on the fight, Adrien gave as wry a smile as he could with a busted lip.

His freedom was still so far away... Even now.

But leaving the fashion industry with at least 100 years worth of luxurious expenses in his bank account was more comforting now.

“It started ‘cause I noticed my -- Mari’s -- earrings went missing all of a sudden. I got them back, just at... a price.”

Well, living in that giant prison of a house was jarring to the blond. He was both claustrophobic and agoraphobic in that same space he used to call his home.
