Having gotten his vaccine, Hux struggles to put the experience to rest. It’s not as easy as he wished, and old wounds get dragged to the surface as Kylo and Hux try to work through their feelings post-incident.

A sequel to Bluebird.

the first part is complete! thank you all for sticking with it and being so wonderful! This is the first multi-chapter fic I’ve finished, so I’m pretty proud of it, even though it’s not super long.

I’ve started working on the sequel. I can’t say for sure when it’ll be posted, but I’d like to have a more regular update schedule for the second part, so I’m trying to do a lot more planning for it.

So the Phan version was the original Bluebird, right? Like, I’m pretty sure I read the original straight from the OG authors account but I also vividly remember seeing that Shawn and Mark one come up when I was searching for it when I first read it years ago, and there’s so many versions

(which, the dedication to changing the story to not only fit different people, but pronouns and specific small things is crazy and amazing and just as bonkers as the original author WRITING all that to begin with. So.)

Anyway was the Phan one the original because it just feels right that that would be, like it feels fitting and the others (not that I’ve read much of any, that fic is long as hell, but I have a little bit.) just feel like- well, inserts, y’know? Idk. That was wild and I cannot believe it didn’t get twilight level book fame but ik it’s cause the author wrote it about real people and it would lose something with OC inserts.
