FOR EVERY PERSON THAT SENDS ME ✭ I WILL GIVE YOU A RANDOM HEADCANON ABOUT MY MUSE.
@bluebirdmuses asked: ✭ Hector?
Héctor isn’t necessarily a stranger to nightmares, although he’s gone through a number of different ones over the years. At first they were like constant replays of his death that seemed to happen nearly every night. A nightmare that would only prove to have been a reality when he woke up to find himself still very much dead. But, as time went on, that nightmare came less and less until it was replaced by a dream that wasn’t so much your conventional nightmare, but rather one that left a heaviness in his chest and a seizing pain in his heart. The idea that Coco hated him and never wanted to see him again. That he wouldn’t ever see her again even if he was given the chance to.
The nightmare always tended to vary as far as what happened or how it happened, but it all ended the same way. After meeting Miguel and returning him to the Land of the Living, the nightmare that haunts him then is him being forgotten. Once again finding himself on death’s door and nearly fading into the Final Death, Héctor has a hard time letting that go even if he often behaves as though he’s recovered from it entirely.
