What a shame, really.

This wasn’t the first, nor second, nor even third encounter the BEAUTY ANGEL had had with the second in command. He just….always ended up using her to destroy evidence or things he needed to get rid of. Essentially, he pulled her strings like a puppeteer in a fight, but it was amusing how she tried.

However, today perhaps she’d regret trying to take on the J-Rank alone inside the building. A strike from Yukari’s sword to the main panel had sent the entire government building into a secure lockdown so no backup could reach her. It wasn’t a problem for Yukari, he could simply walk through the walls if he so wished to get out.

“ As fun as our meetings have been, this is getting tedious and you’re no longer RELEVANT TO THE PICTURE. “

Yukari gracefully tucked the stolen item into his coat, smiling as he watched her get into her battle stance. But her actions were predictable and hardly suited for fighting an opponent like Yukari, especially with his skill and style. Yet there was a steady beauty in the way she didn’t back down, a flare of vividness in both fear and passionate determination in her eyes. This was new.

He’d enjoy this.

“ Even so, I must say it’s quite beautiful how determined you are. I like it. So, I will engage you in one last dance of blades, hm? Show me everything you have, Seri-chan ~ It’s your life on the line. Here and now. “

Arms spread wide in dramatic gesture, a bright smile like the sun on his lips. He ducked right below the blade of her sword as she swung, dancing from the strikes as metal clashed against metal. but this wasn’t all of it. Not yet. He needed to show her a bit more of the beast lurking. So on the next clash, he followed with a roundhouse kick straight to the stomach and a stab of Ayamachi into the shoulder of her nondominant arm followed by a slamming kick into the ground. A delighted sensation rushed through him as he saw the fire in her eyes fully ignite.

“ There we go, there’s your passion. Show me how much you want to live. to prove yourself WORTHY to the Blue King. “

A laugh filled the empty room as he watched her stagger to her feet, no doubt dizzy from the kick. But he indulged, letting her attempt to land a blow on him. ( She was no where close, yet he enjoyed himself nonetheless. ). But soon enough it was starting to become dull with the repetitive attacks. Which is why he lured her up to the second level of the round security room, and a well placed kick had her flying out to the open space.

Of course that wasn’t it. Yukari easily launched himself off with enough force to deliver a painful kick that sent her hurling down into the ground with enough force to cause a crater in the ground. He landed nearby with elegant grace, walking over to the edge of the crater to look down at her as Seri coughed up blood.

“ It’s been fun. “ He remarked calmly, sheathing Ayamachi as he picked up her own blade, twirling it in his hand.

“ Say hello to your King. He’s watching this. “

And with that, Yukari buried Seri’s own blade straight through her heart and into the ground below, a small smile on his lips. She had, indeed, proven to be very beautiful in her last fight, and offered a refreshing new taste of beauty. But she too had fallen like all Yukari’s enemies did. Yukari turned and gave a smile and wave to the camera before a bolt of green electricity took out the one working camera. Which he had, of course, kept for the best view.

Not all that unexpected to hear the dare to kiss his Lieutenant, as Reisi assumed it would be considered fair to give her a kiss in return, seeing how she had obviously beaten herself up about the fact that she had kissed her King, even having gone so far as to hand in her resignation.

Having called Awashima to his office, a request she had promptly followed, Reisi got up from his seat behind the desk, before stepping forwards without a word, until he came to a halt right in front of her.

Leaning down, he gave no warning as he gently placed his lips onto hers, remaining there for only a short moment, before he pulled back. “I apologize for my brashness, but I was dared to kiss you in return. I hope you can accept we are even now, and there is nothing to worry about anymore.”
