At the ‘like a cat’ comment - choosing to ignore his previous feelings of embarrassment and flusteredness - Saruhiko simply went to stare down Reisi in what seemed to be an ever-lapsing silence.

He narrowed his blue eyes, before far too casually bringing his hand up and holding it as if it was a paw and dryly going:
“Nya.”
Curiously, Reisi watched, wondering what Saruhiko was gonna do or say in return to his comment, because he was certain something would follow. Be it denial, or something else.
And he was not disappointed when he saw Saruhiko actually acting like a cat (even if that felt rather sarcastic).
“What an adorable cat.” Reisi just took the ‘paw’ into his hand to place a kiss to it, absolutely loving this.
