State 2.5 Fluixon and Saparata sketches,,while I feel like I’ve nailed down Flux’s design vibe Saparata’s outfit still gives me a struggle 🫡

In this image his “mediator” outfit is supposed to be more elaborate and impractical, seeing as he won’t be fighting or needing to go anywhere quickly (lol), hence the long trailing arm fabrics. The two other busts of him are after he’s on the run but those are the undecided outfits.

As for Fluixon, I love really high collars that partially obscure faces and after seeing Lelouch from Code Geass I saw the vision with Flux’s skin.

s1 wemmbu outfit sketches (beginning - manepear)

he started off really purple and then things happened to him and then he went back to being purple-ish, but ofc his hair was stubbornly bright purple the whole way through (and it grew gradually)

arachnid wemmbu variants. I remembered my love for the winter soldier outfit on the second version and you can tell. me trying to put an A for Arachnid on his front is because my usual design's jacket looks like it has a giant W on the front heh

anyways the way he was so silent in that video kinda broke me

my headcanon for wemmbu having battle scars is that he has ones from the restraints the LAW used when he was in prison due to low saturation on his wrists (they wrap around). He has a stigmata / star looking scar on his right hand from grabbing Crucible wrong and not noticing at one point (likely during abandoned civ / right after), so that's all the more reason to wear gloves for him. Like I think he always wore gloves but previously it was mainly for aura and grip but now it's because the scar is kind of personal and he doesn't take his gloves off unless he's forced to or alone with Egg. and he has a giant scar on his torso from PZE when they boxed him in the obby cage but it's hidden by his shirt obviously

uh I haven't watched the new video yet but I might have to give him a matching scar on his left hand...ahaha

in general I don't think he scars often. I think uu players only scar if they're not healing fast enough with gapples/regen/saturation, or if the same spot is continually irritated / attacked.

Saps knows, now. The gravitas of Turntapp’s gaze presses into his armor like the granite outcrops of Yggdrasil — as it always does — but he has been a wanted man for long enough to be discerning. Turntapp does not look at him like he’s a criminal. Anymore, at least, not wholly. 

When he’d gotten out of his boat, clothes still wet and crystallizing with salt, Turntapp was looking at his hands, his legs. Waiting, watching for the promised payment or a drawn sword, a telltale shuffle into a fighting stance. For the things that Saparata might give to him, do to him, the same way one would watch a feral animal. 

And Saparata watches him back. He let the too-hard thump of his heart distract him from Fluixon’s true intentions once, one too many times. If there’s anything Saps knows how to do now, it’s how to watch. Betrayal is a cruel teacher; her lessons sink deep into his bones, threatening to drag him to the ocean floor. 

So he watches. His nerves, like the rest of him, haven’t had time off since before the massacre. Every shift of Turntapp’s shoulders becomes a threat; every twitch of his hands becomes the precursor to a sword through Saps’s chest. Saps meets his eyes and sees a fortress of basalt, a promise of protection sealed in diamonds and nothing more. He takes it because he has nothing else.

Wemmbu and his boots. He wears gaiters because they look cool and make his boots look longer than they are (they’re probably a bit past his ankles and they lace up, hence why I wanted to make them shorter)

overall I want his clothes to lean more techwear and be form fitting because it’s better for movement and practical purposes. I think he’d move away from “royalty” stuff after PZE just out of spite lol
