BlueLife
BlueLife is a character driven sci-fi audio series set in the post-apocalyptic city-state of Los Angeles which is believed to be the last bastion of humanity. In the midst of environmental collapse, two warring factions fight for control of a life-saving drug, BlueLife, which will determine the outcome of the human race. Set in the year 2088, shortly after the Second Blood War, our story deals with the ideas of class and power. This series combines the styles of Blade Runner, LA Confidential, The Matrix, and the series Firefly.
This story "has been over two decades in the making", and you will feel it clearly if you give it a listen. The world of BlueLife is alive and vibrant, full of political intrigue, compelling characters, conflicts, and so much history still to be discovered by us listeners. And if that isn't enough, the sound design in this is really good too. You can feel how much thought went into the making of this series.
I fell in love with it instantly, and I need a fandom to scream about it, stat. I encourage anyone reading this post to give it a shot. It will be worth it.
