[1.]           executive future au where instead of coming back when he did, takemichi finds himself in angry’s company with no way to contact chifuyu because they’re all currently being hunted down by kisaki. they're trying to find smiley and mikey respectively and decide to team up since their interests overlap, but it's also a journey of them getting to know each other for the first time since i imagine their interactions were limited prior to this without the tenjiku fight happening (and executive takemichi becoming a bit of a scumbag whoops)

[2.]           something more chill in the past, pre-kantou manji. maybe a really bad fight happens where smiley ends up super hurt and is hospitalized for a while, so angry has to take over as the acting 4th division captain. i always thought it was interesting that the captains were made up of mikey’s childhood friends and mucho whom we see he also bonded with, but not the twins, so i wouldn’t be surprised if there was the tiniest bit of disconnect there. as someone who was an outsider until very recently, i think takemichi could help him out a lot!

[3.]           not a plot but angry is one of the few people who have never made fun of takemichi and was actively nice to him so i think just for that takemichi would be very fond of him lol duo of crying babies <3

if there's any important lessons takemichi has learned in his time in a gang other than how to close your fist so your thumb won't break when throwing a punch, it's that appearances aren't everything and can often be deceiving  ⁠—  indeed, the living proof stands here, like a pissed off angel offering him ambrosia in a bag of potato chips. if he squints, he could almost see the heavenly halo resting atop his fluffy hair... or it could just be the glare of the sun, but he digresses. 

          ' angry-kun... '   oh, what a beautiful world it would be if everyone was like him. selfless, kind, attentive ⁠— yes, takemichi can immediately think of at least ten people who could learn a thing or two from him, himself included.

the last chip is barely long enough to fit the width of his palm, but... snapping it in two, takemichi keeps a half and hands angry the other.

Oh no. He can see the older Haitani brother coming from the opposite direction down the sidewalk. He quicky turns to cross the street, hoping for the traffic light to change before Ran sees him. He doesn't want any trouble.

well, well, well, if it isn't a puppy wandering into the den of wolves            but which of the two is the puppy, and which the wolf? the boy doesn't seem to care to find out, if the way he immediately looked away the moment they made eye contact means anything, but ran has always had a fondness for all things interesting, and there currently are less things that can keep him more entertained than the mystery of this fluffy sheep with fangs. 

ran approaches him in a matter of steps, casually slinging an arm around his neck and leaning down to take a look at his face, smiling.
