#Repost @checksydney with @get_repost ・・・ @distan - How the day started on Sydney Harbour. As is my habit, I woke up on the lounge again this morning at 5.45am. My iPhone laying askew on my chest after falling asleep watching one more YouTube video. Figured I may as well take the opportunity and try my luck for a decent sunrise. The cloud predictions were reasonably promising too. I chose Blues Point because it’s been ages since I last shot there and the traffic shouldn’t be too bad for the return trip home. Well, the sunrise was a complete bust! Grey, with virtually no colour whatsoever. I ended up chatting with @ersensenphotos, bemoaning the fizzer we just witnessed. With everything back in the camera bag, I bid farewell. That’s when this brief burst of golden light found a crack in the clouds and lit up the sky. Probably lasted no more than 2 minutes. Just enough to grab a handheld frame on the way back to the car though. ———————————————————————— Canon 5DM3; EF 24-70L @ 24mm f2.8; ISO 250; 1/4000; Handheld - - - - - #bluespoint #sydneyoperahouse #operahousesydney #sydneyharbourbridge #harbourbridge #sydneyharbour #sunrise_sunset #ig_sunrise #ig_sunrisesunset #canonaustralia #sydneyweekender #ilovesydney #sydneylocal #visitsydney #visitnsw #igerssydney #aussie_images #fantastic_earth #downunder #sydneyinsta #light_shots #australia_shotz #ig_discover_australia #focusaustralia #wow_australia2019 #sydneysunriseclub #takemetoaustralia #xploresydney #australiagram #ozscapers https://www.instagram.com/p/B2zAUYih0tg/?igshid=14b0jsqb914z7
