Sharing a secret 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 See these new shoes? They’ve got Bluetooth 💁🏼♀️ They can be connected to an app where I have a coach who will help me after each activity and review what worked well and what could be improved for next time. Something that I shared with our Dunnebells members last week was this: “I don’t often buy new “fitness” things. I’m wearing the same old sports bras from years ago. I’ve got a tiny selection of workout clothes. Equipment? I don’t own any. For whatever reason, even though I’m in the fitness industry, I don’t buy fitness things. Probably because I’m so used to working with what I’ve got, and can’t justify the expense in my head. It often comes down to a want vs. a need”. When I work with my clients and they ask me “what should I buy for the 8-week program” I always respond with “nothing”. The last thing we want is a bunch of equipment that we don’t end up using. It sits in the basement and collects dust. Leaving us with this guilty feeling about how little we use it, every time we see it. Right?! This mindset isn’t something I’m looking to necessarily change, however, I’m practicing finding the sweet spot. These shoes, I wanted them. So, I got them. The excitement I feel about going for a run has completely changed, so you could argue that I did in fact, need them. Sometimes, buying fitnessy things is a good idea. Anyway, what I really came here to say was that these shoes are going to get a run for their money in February (pun intended). I’m not ready to share the exact details just yet, but stay tuned for when I reveal my big focus for the month of February. It scares me and excites me all at the same time 🙃 and as we know.. that’s where the best stuff happens. #getoutofyourcomfortzone #runningmelbourne #melbournerunners #bluetoothshoes #mapmyrun #underarmourshoes #underarmourwomen #strongwomenquotes (at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CZIdfC4PML5/?utm_medium=tumblr
