This is a wee bit outside the usual offerings of bandcampsnoop. Jealousy Mountain Duo are an instrumental two piece from Germany who have constructed an entertaining language with just drums and guitar.
Jens Berger’s guitar and Jorg Schneider’s drumming weave in and out of synch, creating a sparky interplay. Parts remind of the way the Minutemen interpreted jazz. Other moments swell with dissonant strum a la Sonic Youth.
