Just found a piece of Graphic Design here 💛
Well, in theory this is my final year at uni, but since I decided to make my life easier and pick less classes I'll probably finish one semester late. (My mental health sends love).
The thing is, I'm already thinking about my final project because I'm going have to start this year's anyways... So inspired by (not blut) A brief inquiry into online relationships album cover I thought about doing something with it. Meaning: writing a thesis about how album covers are responsible for trends/ reflects them in graphic design and typography... Like, The XX doing God's work of making helvetica great again? And this kinda of stuff...
OKAY ANA, YOU'RE ALREADY STARTED YOUR THESIS HERE. THIS IS AN ESSAY BASICALLY, WHERE'S THE BLUR PART?
Well, loves, since my idea is talking about albums and typography and maybe creating my own font. Obviously I started doing some digging into blur's work. (at first I tried the source: asked them in that new social media q&a thing, but no luck) Then google my dear friend showed me some blur 21 posts/pictures and tah dah:

IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT GRAPHIC DESIGN AND BLUR, OR OWNS THE BLUR 21 BOX AND WANTS TO SHARE ANY SCAN OR PIECE OF INFORMATION I WOULD BE FOREVER GREATFUL AND PUT YOUR NAME IN MY THANKS PAGE ON MY THESIS 💛
I swear please trust the process🙏😭
Do You Need to Remove Company Logos from Your Film?
Do You Need to Remove Company Logos from Your Film?
I think this is one of the misconceptions that gets passed around quite a bit, but you don’t actually have to remove or blur logos (but faces are a different story entirely). The reason (more…)
