Earlier today I saw Hugh Jackman's post on Instagram saying he's playing Wolverine, "one last time". I didn't think much of it, but I got on twitter & saw the same thing then I noticed that every website was reporting it. I'm not gonna lie that broke my heart because not only does it effect me as a comic book fan but it also effects me as a cinephile. I love the character & I love Hugh Jackman's performance. I was only 8 years old when I saw X-men back in 2000, so you can basically say I grew up with this franchise. Hugh Jackman is amazing & he's always taking it up a notch in every movie (both physically & acting wise). It got to the point where I told my dad, after the seeing X2, that didn't want to see anyone else playing Wolverine. If this is true & Hugh Jackman is returning for his last movie then please do me favor & retire the character. I'd rather not to see the character onscreen if he's not played by Hugh Jackman. I know recasting is part of the process but I'm gonna need some serious time to adjust to a new actor. So yea.. That's how I feel! I hope he changes his mind, if not, I'll miss you @thehughjackman.
