Kyd slides Billy a note without looking at him. It’s a simple red card with slightly shaky handwriting inside.
‘My hands start to shake whenever I’ve tried to ask you this before. but of all days, I want to stop being a coward today.’
‘do you want to go on a date with me?’
Paired with a signature that looked like it was originally going to be ‘Kyd’ but instead became his real name. And the man in question looks uncharacteristically anxious, usually active hands stiff at his side.

Valentine’s Day with @bluscr33ns || Kyd
Billy was just starting to skim through his guitar practice book to find where he left off last when Kyd sat down next to him and slid this note over. He looked up and over at him; the guy wasn’t even facing his direction at all, which the multiplier immediately noticed and found suspicious. Despite that, he took the other’s card with a smile that was widening in curiosity by the second.
"Whatcha got here for me? Song requests thatcha want me ta learn for ya?" He joked as he opened up the card nonchalantly, now actually taken aback as he saw shaky, slightly messy handwriting in a more note-like format.
Reading along with ever-growing curiosity, an anticipation rose within him with every word his eyes came across. And then at the written question, he swore he felt his heart start to flutter. It was a question he had been admittedly wanting to ask Kyd for quite some time, yet didn’t know how he, his crush, would respond to it, really.
He could feel his face start to get hot, a pink tint dusting his cheeks as his eyes reread the question, just to make sure it wasn’t some sick illusion. And then the signature at the bottom; not Kyd, but Terrance. Now that was something Billy had to read again as well; hell, it might’ve been more shocking than the question that was just posed to him.
It was unexpected, both to know that that was his actual name and that he finally chose to share it with the multiplier. It was incredibly meaningful and Billy loved it and found the name to be adorable and fitting—though he’ll definitely have his fun poking him about it and how it also sounds very rich and appropriate considering his background. But for now, his eyes went back over to Kyd, blush clear on his face, a huge smile planted on his lips as he could feel his heart start to race in his chest in anticipation, nervousness, and happiness.
"Well, wouldja look at that—beat me ta it." A soft chuckle escaped him as his hands fiddled with the note he’ll be forever keeping. "I would absolutely love ta go on a date witcha, Terrance." He grinned in amusement at the mention of his name; oh, he’s going to love calling him that now—and he absolutely knew that he would be getting obliterated by the man in the most Kyd way possible if he did keep calling him that.
"So—when didja wanna do this? Busy t’night?" Asked excitedly. "Have anythin’ in mind ‘r are ya just happy that ya finally gotcha self ta ask?" He chuckled as he wrapped an arm around Kyd’s shoulders and gave him a reassuring squeeze. "Whatever ya wanna do, I’m game. As long as I’m witchu, I’ll be happy."
