the reason why it was causing problems for you is because the song is in the key of d major while animal crossing’s tune editor is built in the key of c major, and you can’t use any accidentals. every song has to be transposed to either c major or a minor before it’ll work!
edit: rereading this i was like “oh i sounded condescending as hell” so i’m really, really sorry about that :( i’ve been told i sometimes come off as a know it all so i’m really sorry if it felt like that ;-;
