He stared at her for a moment before the recognition lit up in his eyes. ⟬Mei? Wow….How have you been? I haven’t seen you in a while. Yeah I am happy to see you. You’re still pretty as ever if I’m honest.⟭ He still couldn’t believe she was standing here in front of him which caused him to stand up straight and correct his posture.

        Though she had held a serious expression when questioning the other , a smile soon broke across her face. ❛ And I see you're still as sweet as ever. ❜ She reaches out to squeeze the other's cheek lightly before pulling back. ❛ I've been busy with my club lately.. I haven't had much time to do much of anything. But when I saw you I couldn't help coming to harass you a bit. ❜

Her emotions run from angry, to sadness, to worrying, and everything in between.

Sooyoung had been out of the loop in matters of anything about Yongguk since the news came out, always texting him whenever she had the time. Nowadays she felt lucky even having him leave her at ‘read’ to know that he was at least acknowledging her presence, even then, she was not satisfied. 

[sms; Bbang!] yah. . . why arent you replying to me?

[sms; Bbang!] I dont wanna be annoying but Im really worried. 

[sms; Bbang!] have you eaten? did you want me to come over?

[sms; Bbang] please talk to me. . .

Nonetheless, she was already waiting outside the apartment just in case he felt the need to say yes. Her eyes scan the dark window, hoping her phone would ring anytime soon with his name on the screen. It was almost sunset and she worries about the night caving in before she gets the chance to do so, debating whether to push herself in his radar or really leave him be like he wished.

THE DARK MONOCHROMATIC HUES CLASHED similarly to the characters of the mural when Junseo looked at it. A black and white copy of Picasso’s work sat idly on the walls of an exhibit in Seoul, unbothered and dimly lit. The number of people occupying the room dwindled to less than a few as an older woman left to explore the rest of the museum. 

The white bench became a residence for two when Junseo joined the man, not meaning to disturb him in any way, just to enjoy the silence and the odd peace that came with looking at the art. There is a question that sits on his tongue, the weight of it heavier than the pressuring quiet between them both. What’s wrong? But nothing is wrong at all. Sometimes, people tend to choose to be absent of sound. Nothing is wrong at all. 

And yet the man has something to say after all. He tells Junseo of Guernica, “Can you believe it was created in opposition of war?”

the situation was tense. the vibe and the atmosphere was almost suffocating with crackling pressure and silence. only the sound of complete concentration in the room and low breathing could be heard and as baekhyun placed the final card down on top of the tower he threw his hands up triumphantly and cried out. “WE DID IT! AFTER EIGHT TRIES!! WE FINISHED THE CARD TOWER!!” flopping on the couch beside the elder he turned to give a cheeky grin. “good god that took like.. three hours- this is momentous!! i say this calls for a beer celebration!”

“I bet you can’t make it all the way through the movie without screaming at it.”

“I won’t bet you because I would lose all of my money! Of course I’ll scream at it!” Though she would most likely try her hardest not to scream so she wouldn’t damage her vocal chords, she knew she would most likely let a few out anyways.
