#tbt My dad bought this '47 Chevy pickup in July of '94, almost 23 years ago. When we found it, it had huge crusty Tru Spokes with RWL's, was mostly black primer with a HUGE Azteca warrior mural on the hood with his hyna laid across his lap, fuckin LEGIT, haha. Even though my dad had plenty of older Chevy's around before this thing, it was the first real project I busted knuckles on. I think this pic was taken around 1997. 250 Chevy 6, 3 speed auto trans, 4bbl Clifford Intake and Clifford headers with duals and straights. So. Fucking. Loud. Coincidentally, we originally had a pair of 12" Blue Knight glass packs on it, but dad decided it wasn't loud enough so he cut them off and had the straights installed lol. Those same glass packs are now on the #blvdbuick. It ran a Camaro rear end , with a stock straight-axle up front and a disc brake uograde. Super low buck and nothing fancy by any means, but it ran great and it was ours. This truck was a huge part of my life until 2006 or so when my dad sold it. I've been looking for it off and on since then with no success. I would sell/trade my #Skylark in a heartbeat to get this truck back in my life. I'd settle for another solid '47-'53 Chevy/GMC #AdvanceDesignSeries pickup, but to get my hands on THIS truck would be a dream come true. I think he sold it to someone in Northern or Central California. At the time it was still white primer, but had a purple top. Most distinguising feature were the four '41-'48 chevy car tail lights mounted in the rear bumper. Who knows, maybe some day... #chevyrunsdeep #47-53 #chevytruck
