i think that occurs because people are concerned about arrogance, narcissism, or lack of humility from excessive self love for understandable reasons but I think usually if you ask em they would say they support self confidence. havent met any other.

yeah but blyu you gotta realize , because you yourself have not been exposed to any other kind doesn't invalidate that this happens more often than not. because it does. It happens everywhere and is definitely the standard frame of mind society should think you should have. Open a magazine or turn on the TV for 2 seconds and you can find that SOMEWHERE.

It's more acceptable and embraced to feel insecure about yourself and body because that's considered more "sensible"

Plus if you go up and literally ask someone "do you support self confidence" of COURSE they are going to say yes in that kind of situation, because if they don't that pretty much makes them look like a dick, right? So it's pretty easy to say what someone would and wouldn't say in a situation like that, which is kind of unrealistic anyway.

BE a little arrogant and cocky, who the flip cares, you see what I'm saying?? there is literally nothing wrong with narcissism so long as it is not doing any harm to anyone else.

Of course there is no good in either when at the most extreme point they can be, in which yeah, people can begin to worry then. But the majority of the time, this is considered a problem when its nowhere NEAR those extremes.

the fact that these are seen as more of a problem,IS THE PROBLEM. Self loathing and negative self input is 10x more damaging and unhealthy, and if you think otherwise that is also a problem man.

i think if anyone was cursing like a sailor and a stranger came by theyd be embarassed. Fowl language is fowl language after all. It’s just rude stuff around foreign company (well all company if you ask me)

true true, but in each case I was already present in the room, or area for a period of time before they were like "oh yeah wait tone it down." I wasn't just walking in, or walking by. Plus the one time they KNEW they were using misogynistic slurs, but once they knew I couldn't hear, contintued to use them, ONLY because, they thought I couldn't hear them.

and twice out of the few times this happened one of the guys directly pointed out and said "dude, watch your language, there's a girl here."

I only have 3 pants and one hoodie most of which are falling apart. so MY GOAL is hoodies and pants mostly but other things too. Im poor but I got my tax return and soon Im getting finaid refund so clothes (and also a computer)
