Started playing Klonoa on PS1 for the first time after seeing the FanGamer merch drop

Oh my goodness this game is so much fun. Why didn't I pick this up sooner?

The way the final scene of this first episode hit me just HURTS. Like, for an overall really silly and animation-simple episode, this last moment hits like a freight train.

I know exactly how this feels. Too many trans people do - having to hide your real self from those who are supposed to love and support you.

During my downtime on vacation this past week, I've been watching Yu Yu Hakusho for the first time.

Specifically, the Dark Tournament arc. And yeah, it's so freaking peak. I do have a couple of take aways from YYH so far.

1. Kurama is my favorite character by far, followed by Yusuke and Shizuru. All the others are great too but I just love their designs and personalities. It especially helps Kurama that he's really pretty. Also Kurama and Hiei are totally boyfriends

2. I never thought I'd like a battle shonen as much as this. The first season of YYH I was really into, but I've never been a fan of the whole fighting shonen genre. So while I was having fun with it at the start, I was unsure if I could keep the momentum going through an entire 41 episode tournament arc. Thankfully, it delivered incredibly well, weaving backstory and drama amidst great action and on-the-spot thinking.

3. I really want to cosplay as the announcer, Koto. Their outfit seems easy enough to do, and I've got similar hair, so it might be feasible! I'd love to cosplay her for my local con - it'd be my first time cosplaying despite going there for 10 years ;P

Over halfway to the end, only 46 episodes to go. After this I'll either continue with Togashi's work by watching Hunter x Hunter, or try to pick DragonBall up again. Either way, I've been having a blast.

Melinoe!?! Girl? Are there no filters for the Princess of Hell?

I was only able to get this part of the conversation but I am GAGGED. Melinoe was speaking to Nemesis in one of the Special Encounters she comes up in, and they end up talking about armor. And then this line just comes out of nowhere like Melinoe really just speaks what's on her mind huh

Reading the Archie Comics run and I'm finally in the home stretch (issues 200+).
