Just listened to a dope podcast from JJ le Roux -@graveltravel_podcast and an old goat in the motorcycle industry at @superbikemagazine owner Clinton Pienaar in South Africa. They touched on why fewer young people are riding and getting into Advbikes. It is still a growing market but not for young people as much. Are bikes too expensive and unaffordable to own seeing what a new BMW cost? Is it maybe that we lost all the middle range bikes (DR650,KLR, DRZ, ect) and the industry doesn't listen to customers and not bringing smaller, cool looking capable Advbike to the market? Our GenX generation grew up with bikes, maybe that's is why we love to wheels so much and the love of travelling that comes with that. How can we get younger people into Advbiking, that they can also experience & enjoy the absolute mindblowing fun of adv biking and of travel and the excitement that it brings?
