I'm super interested to see the Peter/MJ relationship in BND. All I wanted was some angst which it seems were definitely getting. And it will be nice to see Tom and Z acting across each other in a more mature emotional sense rather than the awkward teenage dynamic they had in the previous movies

I'm really curious to see what they'll do with MJ in this movie (Peter, I love you, but I truly wish for the next SM movie to have MJ at its heart, yeah) because this week I saw a Tumblr post highlighting something Z said in one of her interviews (I don't know which one—I think the one on the Spanish show?) where she mentions MJ is figuring out her future career path 👀. I don't know if that'll be a major plot point or just a passing mention—"just another thing going on in their lives," idk—but I also love the fact that she's interacting with other MCU characters (Frank—I wish it were Bruce too)! She'll be on his case constantly, but I think the reason Peter chose him to look after her is: 1) well, he's alone and probably doesn't have that many people to turn to, and 2) Frank would be capable of killing anyone who tried to hurt her (something Spidey wouldn't do, since he doesn't kill). But, well, I hope to see more of her; she's appeared quite a bit in the trailers, I hope that's the case in the movie too, and not just a superficial "appearance" from the teasers 🙏🫠

I'm curious too. I think she'll play a significant supporting role in the plot, but I'm not going to get my hopes up too much. This is a Marvel film and ofc Peteris the main character. I don't expect there'll be a huge amount of space for character development outside of some of the interactions you mentioned.

That said, writers can do a lot with a few lines of dialogue and small character moments. They can imply a surprising amount of backstory without needing a lot of space or screen time, so I'm keen to see what they have come up with. 

It was also reassuring to hear there was an MJ pass on the original script.  Something MJ focused in the future would be awesome.

Yeah, I don't see MJ cheating, whether she remembers that she has history with Spider-Man or not. And I don't think Z would be on board with that either tbh. Could be by that time the boyfriend situation has been resolved.

MJ kisses Spider-Man after they have been through some crazy stuff and slaps Peter when she finds out that he lied to her. That's my vision.

daredevil is not in this movie, and they are not going to kill jean in her first spiderman movie, the next one? maybe, sure

Like I said, I don't expect anyone to believe me (also to be clear its jean dewolff not grey).

But I'm very certain Matt Murdock was in the photo. And for all I know, Charlie Cox could've just been hanging around set in costume cosplaying with his trademark glasses and suit.

They are teasing several emotional story arcs, and imo I'd say there is a chance Jean dewolff could be one of them. But I agree that's pretty heavy, especially if something also happens to Ned and Peter.
