1. Olivia
Olivia knocked this out of the park! Her face is simply stunning, the shape of it is gorgeous and her eyes are commandingly mesmerizing. The reclined pose is fantastic and it works great for the clothes, and I’m living for the way her hand is daintily brushing against her cheek. The entire picture is both soft and powerful, as if she’s both a fairy princess and mob boss all in one. Olivia instantly became one of the frontrunners with this shot!
12. Victoria
This is essentially a repeat of Victoria’s previous photo, except she looks vaguely confused/irritated rather than blank; the overall floppiness remains. She has no idea what to do with her arms and her torso appears very broad due to how she positioned herself. I honestly would’ve axed Victoria here since she produced two duds in a row in the first two shoots of the cycle.
2. Simone
Simone’s shot is brilliant! The way her bright eyes are staring around with such a sense of wonder makes her look like a kid-at-heart in a candy store. Her face photographed flawlessly and I love how she placed her hand to sell the bracelets. Even though this is cropped I can still tell that she was working the entire outfit too. Simone definitely deserved more credit for this picture!
3. Tallulah
Tallulah’s shot was a pleasant surprise! She brought a fantastic pin-up energy, and the arched back adds just the right amount of sex appeal. I love her come hither over-the-shoulder gaze, and the way she animated her face makes her look like a vintage movie star, though I wish she had given just a bit more of a smile. Tallulah wouldn’t be my choice for the FCO, but I still really love her picture.
4. Jennifer
Jennifer’s picture is one of the more unique ones in the bunch. I’m not often a fan when a shot is caught between poses, but it somehow works here since it adds some cool motion. The dress is amazing on her as well. I like her glance to the side and how she played with her hair, and the light is hitting her face beautifully. Jennifer stood out with this shot!
5. Chloe
Chloe embodied the brief and connected with the setting, her shot is like an Alice in Wonderland-inspired tea party. Her face is very doll-like, but she managed to bring just enough life and quirkiness to make it work. The upper half of her pose is decent, but there’s something awkward about that dangling hand and I can’t tell what’s going on with her leg position. Those issues brought Chloe down a couple of spots, but it’s an excellent shot overall.
6. Eleanor
It’s probably an unpopular opinion, but I actually like Eleanor’s picture. The only main flaws are her arm positions; the straight one is too rigid and her other one is cramped. Otherwise she displayed the dress nicely and pulled off the seated pose well. Her bone structure is stunning in profile and I like her slightly mischievous expression. It’s nothing too special but it’s a solid showing from Eleanor.
7. Alannah
I applaud Alannah’s effort, but the end result is underwhelming. The main problem is her face; the joyous emotion is fine, but the angle is so unflattering and completely throws off her face, plus her neck appears too thick. Her pose saves the shot for me at least, since she brought some shape to the dress and the way she’s holding out the teacup and the strawberry makes her look like the kooky owner of the bakery who’s welcoming in some guests. Alannah slipped back with this performance.
