hope & victory in the ashes
Bo-Katan moved, waking up slowly. At first she couldn't get used to the light that suddenly hit her when she lifted her eyelids, and then she tried not to sneeze too loudly, feeling the dust. Fenn held her tightly, shielding her body from the open area, as if he wanted to protect her from unexpected enemy attack even while they rested. However, she would have preferred him not to sacrifice so much, knowing that their hiding place was guarded by protectors.
“Bless you,” Fenn muttered, hearing her sneeze quietly.
She looked at him and smiled slightly, seeing the man wake up as slowly as she did. She reached a hand towards his hair to shake off the grey dust.
“Did we sleep through the night?” He asked quietly, closing his eyes.
“Looks like it,” she replied, laying her head on his chest. She didn't have to wait long for him to kiss her gently in the hair.
