Bo Sinclair was an asshole, anyone who knew him knew this fact, however, there was a side of him â albeit rare â that could be kind and loving, although, there was only one person who he deemed worthy of this side.
Y/N was everything that Bo was not: sweet, kind, caring, and loving. She was any manâs dream. Perhaps this was why Lester craved her, much to Boâs dismay.
Whilst Boâs initial craving for her was lust, it soon transformed into genuine feelings, something which terrified him. He didnât believe that he could love, nor did he think he was worthy of being loved.
âBo,â Y/N whined, capturing the mechanics attention as he lay beneath a truck. She watched as the man rolled out to look at her, oil clinging to his face.
âWhat is it?â He asked.
âIâm bored,â
With a roll of his eyes, Bo pushed himself back underneath the truck, turning his attention back to the job at hand. He enjoyed her company he truly did, but there were times when he couldnât stand to be around her. It was nothing personal, he just didnât know how to control himself.
The revealing clothes that she was wearing in the summer heat left little to the imagination and Bo almost wished he could take a picture of her, capturing her in all her glory, not that he would ever admit he saw her that way to anybody besides himself; he often struggled to admit it to himself.
He could feel her eyes on him, although he didnât know why she was so focused on him, but it made it hard to focus. What was supposed to be an easy job was suddenly made harder with her focus solely on him; he almost felt insecure. Almost.
Bo knew he was both attractive and charming, but when around her he couldnât help but wonder if she saw him the same way. In fact, that was something he pondered often. She was Vincentâs friend, that was how he came to know her and how she ended up residing in Ambrose after a âcomplicationâ with her previous partner.
He remembered the nights she spent crying whilst Vincent comforted her, both with hugs and pats on the head which Bo found odd as Vincent was not one for physical touch. Bo would never admit he was jealous, and besides, he wasnât aware of his feelings then.
The feelings came rushing to him one night as he found her in the kitchen. She was making a coffee after giving up on sleep a little after her breakup. Tears stained her cheeks, be it from the bad memories or the breakup itself, and Bo couldnât remember the last time he had cried or seen somebody cried; maybe it was Lester when they were younger, he wasnât sure.
âSorry,â she had apologised to him. âIâll get out of your way.â
Bo hesitated for a moment, something that he wasnât used to. Sure, he had talked to her a few times, but rarely alone. He wasnât big on conversation with new people, let alone friends of Vincent.
âItâs fine, donât worry âbout it.â Came his response, shocking them both.
âAre you sure?â
âCourse, sâpose itâs your house too for now.â
Little did he know, she would become a permanent resident in the Sinclair household.
âThank you, Bo,â she smiled sweetly at him, and despite the tears staining her cheeks, he found her beautiful. He knew in that moment that he wanted her in more than a sexual way.
âWhy are you staring?â Bo asked from beneath the truck.
Y/N paused for a moment, mouth opening and closing as she struggled to form an answer. âAdmiring the view, I guess.â She said with a shrug and Bo could feel his cheeks warming but he simply blamed it on the heat; ignorance is bliss, after all.
Never in his life had he thought he would feel this way and it was terrifying to say the least.
âOh, hi, Lester!â Y/N grinned, unable to see how Boâs eyebrows furrowed and a frown formed on his lips. âHow are you?â
âIâm all right, Y/N/N. Howâre ya?â Bo could hear the smile as Lester spoke and his frown grew.
Y/Nâs attention turned from Bo to Lester, red dusting her cheeks from the summer air, and maybe because she was called out for staring.
âIâm good! Me and Bo are just working. Well, heâs working and Iâm just sitting here.â A giggle fell from her lips and both the menâs hearts warmed.
As Lester and Y/Nâs conversation continued, Bo found himself zoning out, anger forming in his chest. He hated them interacting, having known about Lesterâs feelings for his âcrushâ for a while now. Even if Lester wouldnât admit it, Bo knew; he always knew.
Rolling out from beneath the truck, Bo spoke. âIf you two want to carry on talking, can you do it somewhere else!?â He snapped, immediately regretting it upon seeing the way Y/Nâs face dropped. He did debate apologising, but his ego was too big to do so.
She paused for a moment before lifting herself to her feet, silently nodding before walking away, Lester following like a lost puppy.
Boâs anger continued to fester for the rest of the day, even as he entered the house, slamming the door behind him.
âHi, Bo,â Y/N greeted him, but it went ignored as Bo removed his boots.
It was safe to assume that Bo was in one of his usual bad moods and Vincent had signed to her that it was best to ignore him when he got like this when she first came to stay. It was the unspoken rule of the house, so she turned her attention back to the television in front of her.
Bo, of course, was paying attention and seeing that Lester had left had his bad mood calming slightly, his tense shoulders relaxing ever so slightly. A quiet sigh of relief was next, although it went unheard by the woman that held his affections.
âI see your little boyfriend left,â Bo broke the silence.
âBoyfriend?â
âLester.â
âHeâs not my boyfriendâŠ?â It was safe to say that Y/N was confused.
âHe seems quite smitten on you.â
âI donât see him that way.â
Bo relaxed some more and this time it didnât go unnoticed by Y/N, nor did his dilated pupils. She wasnât stupid, she knew what that meant.
As she stood up, a plan formed in her mind, but if she was wrong about this, she risked ruining everything, including their close friendship.
What is life without a little risk? She reasoned with herself.
Bo watched her as she moved closer, eventually standing in front of him and toying with the collar of his thin jacket, fixing it despite knowing that he would remove it soon.
âThere is somebody I see that way, though,â she said, looking up at him with a coy smile that had Boâs heart racing.
âIs that so?â He muttered, watching her closely.
âYeah,â her smile grew, hands reaching out to grasp his face, taking it slowly and gently so that he could pull away at any time.
But he didnât pull away, in fact, he couldnât resist any longer and his face dived down, capturing her lips in a passionate kiss.
She could taste a mix of cigarettes and beer on his lips, but it wasnât something she minded; it was very Bo and she loved him for who he was, flaws and all.
Whilst her hands gently cupped his cheeks, Boâs reached out to lightly grasp both her waist and the back of her neck as he continued to kiss her. It was something he didnât want to pull away from. The sensation of her lips on his and his hands on her had his heart beating a million miles per minute and the feeling itself gave him a high better than any drug ever could.
When they separated, Y/Nâs gaze turned downwards, a dark blush coating her cheeks.
âI didnât know if that was a good idea,â she admitted. âIâm hoping it was.â
Bo paused for a moment, feeling as though he was unable to speak. âI think it was,â his voice was quiet yet filled with emotion which was unusual for the man. âAs long as you liked it, then I think it was, at least.â
âI did like it,â
Bo smiled, and whilst it was a small smile, it was noticeable to her.
And in a way it feels invasive. He feels like heâs been seen naked, and he quickly looks away with the feeling of embarrassment and shame fills himđ
He goes to leave, quickly entering the bathroom and shuts the door behind him.
after about a minute of refusing to look at himself in the mirror, he hears gentle breath coming from the other side of the oak wood door.
his better half, asking if heâs okay. that it looked like he saw a ghost, and then laughing. then telling him that you miss him. and that, âby the way, youâre beautiful.â
he starts to cry, smiling, and looks into the mirror at the face that they said was beautiful. đđ
jason vorhees:
jason isnât really self aware like thomas is. he isnât one to worry about what he looks like anymore đ€
i mean, he does worry that you wonât find him attractive, but itâs not to the point where he will refuse to ever let you see him with his mask off!
the first time was when he was down by the lake, sitting down washing a trap that had flesh still inside, minding his ownđ he had taken off his mask to breathe freely the lake air.
he had thought youâd been asleep for a long time, inside the cabin. and he had been so threaded in his thoughts that he didnât hear the door open.
âhi jasonâ your voice rang out sweetly, slightly caught off guard because his mask was off but nontheless wanting to greet himđ«¶
he says nothing (obv), but instead of giving you his long soft glance like he usually does, he looks away, and down, almost trying to hide his face as he grows stiff
you grow slightly deflated, but your love for him seems to intensify, and you canât stop the words before they come out, âyou have beautiful eyes.â
jasonâs eyes flicker to you, then back to the ground, then pats the ground beside him for you to keep him company đđđ„ș
michael myers:
this guy is the literally opposite of thomas he does not care at allđ he is literally so not self aware at all
he likes his mask but sometimes the thing gets real smelly so he has to throw it in dishsoap water yk đ„Č
then you come around the corner heâs like âoh hey y/nâ literally nothing off about whatâs being seen atm đđđ
you TRY to play it cool but at the same time youâre like fangirling over seeing your hot smexy murderer husband without a mask for the first time đđ
but at the same time like he probably sleeps without the mask on so iâm assuming yâall sleep separate until now đ„Č
if not then you see it so early into the relationship like itâll be no big deal đđ
bo sinclair:
boy doesnât wear a mask, his face is too hot and sexy to be contained đ
vincent sinclair:
absolutely horrified. he doesnât even like being alone without his mask on that much.
he just was repairing itâ he got too close to a radiator on accident and needed to repair it. then his baby walked inđ„ș
hears the door open and IMMEDIATELY flinches away. he knows you caught a glimpse, and heâs terrified, and mortified.
heâs breathing deeply, frozen, stiff, like one of his sculptures. you on the other hand are concerned. đ„č
âdarl? is everything okay my love?â you call out softly, so not to startle himđ he doesnât answer, and doesnât move.
âi went looking for some petrol, i knew you wanted some for your art. itâs in the shed.â he noticed that you never called his statues âsculpturesâ or âwax dollsâ like bo always did. you called them âartâ đđ
âhoney you donât have to hide from me. i will always respect your privacy, i will never ask you to show me your face. but you will never have to hide from me because i love all of you.â đ„čđ
you say this to him and he softens like the wax on his mask. it was within the next few days that heâd rather throw it into the fire than melt it into his skin forever đđ

Minors do not interact!
Warm kisses sprinkle your neck, walking you to the fuzzy morning, opening your eyes to see the dimly lit room. His hands moved up, grabbing and smoothing your skin. Moving in his hands makes him groan. "Don't move," Bo whispers hoarsely, looking down you see his messy hair.
Squeezing at your leg that rested on his hip as he traveled down, underneath clothing touching you, moans escape as his touch quickens. Feeling as he pulls aside your clothes, then his hard cock teasing away while coating his cock with your wetness.
Cursing and whining as he sinks into you, filling up every inch, taking in all your warmth, making him moan. Rolling your head back, he shushes you. "Stay still," he moans, planting himself deeper, moans curl from your throat before making their way out into the morning air.
Holding back moans, so these brothers wouldn't bother you while his cock buried deep, grabbing onto the sheets, then tilling your neck, letting him back in. Slowly, his rough thrusts picked up, as did his head looking at you falling apart. "Fuck, look at you," he whispers, meeting your eyes before they rolled back.
Kisses met your cheek as he grabbed and drilled himself into you. Not being able to hold back moans, they escaped, though covered up by the bed creaking.
Holding your shoulder down as he nipped at your skin, "Bo," you moan, making his thrust turn sloppy. Pushing you closer to the end, his lips smash into yours, feeling the rumble of his moans against yours.
Feeling your stomach start to swim, causing your nails to drag down his back, pulling you into his arms as he buries deep, filling every inch, and leading you to your high. Bring the fuzzy morning to an end as waves of pleasure go through your bodies.

The hefty clunk of the metal restraint is what pulled you from the lulled-over state, fading images of the inside interior of the man's gas station replaying in your mind until it all began to make sense again. His southern accent, that charming smile, and his sudden display of attraction led to you being hit over the headâBo had you right where he wanted you.
His calloused fingers ran through your hair, pressing into your scalp to feel the heat radiating from your tense state of being. That Cheshire grin on his lips, it was beyond intriguing, but not as much as the surrounding space. Pictures of gruesome scenes displayed on his wall, multiple women having been tortured and played with according to the evidence he had purposely placed within eye level of the chair you were contained to.
"Like my work?" He spoke so confidently, as if his set of morals only made sense to his brainâand your opinion wasn't necessary in response to his question. "Not as good as my brotherâs, I'll give it that."
His head tilted as he spoke, the hat clinging to his brown locks slipping slightly from the amount of sweat that had collected on his forehead. The action of pulling you along through the pathways of the small, abandoned town showed clearly by his physical state. The smallest bit of sweat showed, stained under his arms as he lifted his hand to fix his hat.
By the duress on your form, marks of his fingernails digging into your skin as he dragged you along, he seemed almost tired by the way he stepped closer to you in a slow motion paceâbut he wasn't finished with you yet.
"But my work is much more fun." His smile widened to show you his teeth, straight and lightly stained, a darkness in his eyes that sent a chill down your spine.
It wasn't the restraints on your limbsâwrists and ankles held against the cold metal chair with you on full display for himâthat made you lightheaded, but what was to come.
You had put together long ago that something was different about the small town, off and wrong. But the bite of your tongue helped you keep your cool, only until now had you kept in mind just what type of people you were dealing with in the confined space. You knew it from the moment something had gone wrong with your car that stopping in the middle of nowhere, town or not, was dangerousâand even more-so when those inhabiting the place appear extroverted considering their living conditions are plagued by few tenants.
You couldn't complete a full word, let alone a sentence. The way you shook, rattling the metal chair as if an earthquake was occuring, it only fed Bo's desires.
Had he not been the second face you had seen in the town, collected and calm with a lingering smile that made you feel safe for a moment's beat, you wouldn't be here now.
The blade of the knife attaching to your throat instantly stilled your movements, shallow breathing finally giving your ears a chance to hone in on his words.
"Now, nowâthereâŠ" The way Bo spoke made it seem like he had dealt with a hundred shivering and whimpering people in his life and this was nothing new. "Can't have you witherinâ away on me so soon, darlin', hmm?"
The blade was dulled, making it that much more devious as he plucked at your skin cells in a threatening way. His voice could only coax so much of your nervous responses, hot tears slipping down your cheeks and falling onto the scars along his wrists as he hissed. "Cryinâ like a little bitch won't help either, now will it?"
For once, the man was awaiting a response. Your quieted state gave him the power to make you answer him, your hands tightening around the metal restraints in tandem with your head shaking slowly.
"Good." His voice was just above a whisper. "GoodâŠ"
His blue eyes seemed to turn darker by the second. His prowling state looming over you, legs helping him wander around to the front of the chair so he could stare at you face to faceâit made your limbs return to their shaking to see the blade pulled from your skin and now in his distant hand.
"You're good at this." From his gently spoken words, it seemed like the words playing in his head were accidentally being said aloud. His racing thoughts, feral glare, and clutching fingers around the knife gave him the appearance of a predator looking at its prey. "Very, very good at this, baby."
Your mind raced along with his, attempting to remind yourself that he seems used to this. Used to your smaller state, used to the gritty appearance of your own blood and sweat soaking into your skin, and even more used to your trembling limbs soon falling into the hold of his rough hands once the knife was placed on a small table next to the chair.
He was effervescent, watching you stuck in the same chair he had seen dozens in before. His head bobbed, tongue leaving his mouth to lick his drying lips as his eyes caught sight of the way your clothing hugged your frame. You watched the corners of his mouth rise, blinking in your direction before meeting your gaze.
"Got a little dirty from the chase, didn't you?"
Your quick nod made him cackle under his breath, almost a hiss and a sign mixed togetherâmild attentiveness in the way you respond to him so quickly since showing you what he could do with the knife. He was being entertained, but his patience was getting cut shorter by the minute.
Once his hands had found your shirt, you knew what was to come. The use of someone, toying and prodding at themâBo claimed a devilish smile at your wide gaze, knowing well that you knew what was occuring.
"Don't worry, babydollâ" You wanted to whimper, to show some sign to him of your innocence, but he already had his plan playing out in his mind. "âI'm a real good fuck."
"B-Boâ" His name leaving your mouth made him bite down on his bottom lip, face moving in closer to listen to your words carefully.
He couldn't help the way his brows raised, interest partaking his mind in a split second. The man seemed caught off guard, the sudden use of his nameâonly said to you once while greetingâwas new to him. Especially considering that you had remembered it, he almost could hold back his smile.
"Yes?" The tone in his voice raised, gesturing for you to carry on with your sentence. Whatever you were to ask, it would certainly bring him joy.
"I-Iâ" But as your words returned to a stutter, his brows furrowed in annoyance.
"I-I-Iâ" He was mocking you, his high-pitched tone almost annoying to even yourself. The man loved games, playing you like he'd get a prize at the endâbut now you were simply postponing his own release.
He grabbed at your wrists, pulling at them so violently that the restraints threatened to cut at your skin worse than the knife would have done. The man had officially lost his patience, tugging at the metal chair until the locks once confining you to the seat opened and your body was pulled upwards into his hold.
"What do you want? Huh?" His voice was loud, guttural and that of someone who had no compassion. "Cause you're wasting my damn time!"
The heat of your body against his drove him even harder to not break then and there, your frame cradled into him and fitting perfectly. His chin had to lower towards his chest just so your eyes could be leveled, the arm wrapped around your waist tight and his hand on your wrist even tighter.
"If you don't speak up, you'll never speak again!" He spoke through gritted teeth, eyes shining in the dim lights of the room below the station. Although his voice's tone had simmered down to above a whisper, you knew you were running out of chances.
"P-PleaseâŠ"
His eyes squinting in annoyance was nothing but harsh, almost just as mean as his shaking head was at your words.
"I know I am gonna die."
Finally, you have caught on. It was those few words that made his face release, the smile slowly returning to his lips.
"I don't wanna die a v-virgin. Bo, pleaseâ"
"A virgin?" That whispery voice he had, like he couldn't believe the words coming from your mouth. "A virgin."
"Boâ"
"You want me?" His tone had turned dark once more, his step against your frame making his thigh connect with your lower half. The hiss of your tongue made him blink slowly, the cogs in his brain turning faster and faster with ideas of what to do with you.
"You had never been touched? Not before my handsâŠ" The man seemed to fall deeper and deeper into his desires, his racing thoughts now in his frontal cortex and beginning to consume him. As you shook and shivered, you felt the heat of his tongue sliding across your lipsâthe scent of his breath now in your nostrils as he licked at your mouth. "My tongueâŠ"
He was fading from reality, falling into a dominant state that urged himâand made his jeans tighten more as he thought and poked at you. It wasn't until you blinked, felt the warmth of his face leave your own that you could take in the pleasurable instance before you. His hand had taken your own, slowly moving down towards his thick pair of jeans, and falling along the shape of his hardening cock restrained by the pants he wore.
"Feel that?" Bo, always wrapped up in his own pleasure and need for release, was finally coming to terms with the fact that he had someone innocent and fresh to the world of sexual actions in front of him. "That's how hard you've made me."
"Boâ" You saw the way the lines in his forehead became more prominent when you said his name, and even caught sight of his cock throbbing against his jeans a second after.
"Keep sayin' my name so pretty, and I just might fuck the daylights out of you, darlin." He beamed with every word, his own hands beginning to trail around your frame.
He felt the clothes on your body, raising the bottom of your shirt to feel at your skin. The hiss that left him when he came into contact with your chest, felt at your hardening nipplesâit all made him move in closer to you for friction. He wanted you just as badly as you wanted to feel something deep within you.
"Wellâ" The button of your pants was undone, his own popping open by a quick flick of his thumbs. As more and more skin of the two of you was exposed, the man seemed to need to suck in more air into his lungs. "Since you asked so nicely."
It only took a beat for him to have you spun around, back flesh against his front and your ass rubbing against his length soon pulled from the hold of his clothing. You could feel every bit of him, inch by inch. And as your mouth watered, it was just as quickly pooling from the corners of your mouth as he ripped at your underwear to run his fingers through the wetness created by your own curious pleasure.
He lifted his fingers away from your torn clothing, raising them towards your face to show you the slick wetness strung between his digits. "And this is what I've done to youâŠ"
With every grin Bo gave you, you felt the pulse of his length against you. The moment you saw him smiling in your peripheral was the same time you felt his fingers returning to your wetness, digits slowly slipping into you and creating squelching noises from his rough pace. You could feel the callouses from his work, feel the coolness of his fingers turn hot as he fucked you with them, and even hear his deep panting in your ear as he ground himself against you.
Your head was spinning with pleasure, the breath knocked out of you from the sudden loss of his fingers. It was only for a second that you could see behind you, watch as his wet fingers wrapped around his own length and coated himself with your wetness, but the image alone had you bucking your hips against nothing for a sooner release.
"Look at you. Like a dog in heatâŠaren't you?" Your nodding made his sentence fade out, the smile once on his face lowering as he pulled at your hips with a harsh grip. "Do you want my cock that badly?"
Now his voice had turned back into a whisper. You couldn't even nod fast enough, the tip of his cock at your entrance taking the breath you needed to moan as he entered you. Deeper and deeper, it almost seemed as though he wouldn't fit.
"FuckâŠ" He winced at your tightness, panted at the sight of himself slipping out and back in slowly, and laughed a deep chuckle at the sight of light splatters of blood covering his cock from your virgin body taking him first. "Fuck!"
You couldn't speak, garbled sounds of moans, groans, and whines coming from you. Your sounds were nearly covered up by his loud groans, his thick cock railing into your body making your limbs run sore. Just as you fell forward, arms catching yourself on the metal chair that once held you down, you felt the pulsing of your walls working their magic on the man who had never felt the insides of a virgin.
Bo, the calm and collected man you had known for a short period of time, was losing himself with his cock inside of you. His pants were frantic, moans and groans colliding in his throat and making him create animalistic sounds.
"YouâYou're, ahhâfucking so good. SoâSo good for me." The man was a mess, his mind so clouded with pleasure and white that he nearly missed your walls clenching on him, an orgasm arising from you. It was the first orgasm caused by someone beside yourself, and you were a mewling mess along with him.
"BoâBo Iâ"
"Come on my cock." He had finally found his stance, his heavy boots planted on the old floor as he brutally thrusted his hips until the pace of his lower half turned frantic. Racing for his own release, the man was using your limp body like a pocket-pussy, not even the least bit concerned about the red marks turning into bruises along your skin from his rough hold.
"You're mineâm-mineâŠ" The man had officially lost himself within you, the thick ropes of his cum painting your insides making you let out deep breathes and suck in even larger ones to combat his form falling against you on the metal.
As he last few drops of his cum spurted into you, he pulled his length from your wallsâwincing at the feeling of the cold air against his hot skin as he pulled his jeans back up his legs and stretched.
Your body, tired and used to completion, finally had its fill. Your blinking eyes couldn't help the small tears still falling down your cheeks, Bo catching the droplets on the pads of his fingers as he pulled you backwards into him.
"Don't cryâ" He spoke in a hushed voice, praising you for taking him so well. "You did so well for me. You got just what you wished for, right? Shushâshush your cries babydoll."
Even with the warmth of his hug from behind, it couldn't divert your gaze from the floorâyour eyes set upon the metal drains along the tiled flooring. This was death as a building, as a town, and as a personâand Bo was just playing with you.
"I think it's time I get my own wish granted, don't you?"

Lester Sinclair had always found solace in the woods. The dense canopy of trees, the gentle rustling of leaves, and the distant calls of woodland creatures were a symphony of tranquility. It was his sanctuary, a place where he could escape the demands of his hectic life and find a sense of peace.
On this crisp autumn morning, with the sun barely peeking over the horizon, Lester set out for a hunting expedition. He carried his rifle with practiced ease, each step taken with a careful consideration of his surroundings. His brothers, Bo and Vincent, would join him later, but for now, he relished the solitude.
As he ventured deeper into the forest, Lester's keen eyes caught sight of something unusual amidst the fallen leaves. There, sprawled on the ground, was an unconscious young woman. Her clothes were torn, and her face was marred by a bleeding wound on her forehead. It was a sight that sent a jolt of concern through Lester.
Kneeling beside her, he carefully examined her condition. She was still breathing, albeit shallowly, which was a relief. Gently, he brushed her hair away from her face, revealing her pale complexion. Concern etched his features as he noticed the deep bruises marring her arms and legs. It was clear that she had been through some kind of ordeal.
Lester's instinct to help kicked in immediately. He knew he couldn't leave her here, injured and alone in the woods. Carefully, he reached into her pocket and found her wallet. Opening it, he discovered her identification. Her name was (Y/N), a medical student still in college.
With determination in his eyes, Lester decided to take action. He scooped her fragile form into his arms, cradling her gently. She was surprisingly light, making it easier for him to carry her. As he began to make his way back to his pickup truck, he couldn't help but wonder how she had ended up in such a dire situation.
The journey back to his home felt like an eternity, the forest passing by in a blur of green and brown. Lester's mind raced with questions, but his primary focus was ensuring (Y/N)'s safety. He knew his brothers would be just as concerned as he was when they saw her.
When he finally reached the old, rustic house that he shared with Bo and Vincent, Lester carefully carried (Y/N) inside. The warmth of the living room enveloped them, a stark contrast to the cool autumn air outside. With great care, he laid her down on the couch, his worry deepening as he took a closer look at her injuries.
Bo had been planning to join Lester for the hunting trip, but he arrived later than expected. He pushed open the creaky front door of their rustic home, a cheerful greeting on his lips. "Lester, you out here, buddy?" he called, stepping into the warm and cozy living room.
His voice trailed off when he laid eyes on the unexpected scene before him. His gaze fixed on the unconscious girl lying on the couch, her disheveled appearance a stark contrast to the familiar surroundings.
"Who the hell is she?" Bo blurted out, his voice tinged with some kind of emotion though Lester wasnât sure what.
Lester turned toward his brother, his eyes filled with a mixture of worry and confusion. "I found her out back in the woods," he explained, "She was unconscious, and there are bruises on her, and she had this nasty wound on her forehead."
Just as their argument started to brew, the connection between the twins kicked in. Vincent, who had been working away in the basement workshop, felt Bo's growing frustration through their twin link. He abandoned his tools and made his way upstairs, his face a mask of concern. He signed, asking if everything was alright.
Bo's agitation was clear in his voice as he responded to Vincent's silent inquiry. "No, Lester here is putting us all in danger."
Lester frowned at Bo's accusation. "How am I putting us in danger?" he retorted, his voice rising in frustration.
Their argument continued, voices escalating, as neither brother noticed the subtle movement on the couch. (Y/N) began to stir, her eyelids fluttering open. She blinked in confusion, disoriented by her surroundings and the voices she heard. Her vision was blurry at first, but gradually, the room came into focus.
Vincent, who had been watching the argument unfold, suddenly noticed her awakening. He took a step back, positioning himself between Bo and the girl, his curiosity piqued. He wanted to observe her reaction before drawing attention to her presence.
As (Y/N) began to regain consciousness, she felt a dull ache in her head, which sent a wince across her features. Her eyes slowly adjusted to the room, and as she sat up, she couldn't help but notice the three men now staring at her. Their expressions ranged from concern to curiosity, and she blinked owlishly at them, her confusion evident.
"Where am I?" she asked, her voice slightly shaky.
Lester, the one who had found her, stepped closer and replied, "You're in my home. We found you in the woods unconscious, and you had some injuries, so we brought you here."
(Y/N) furrowed her brow, trying to piece together the events leading to this moment. "How did I get here?" she wondered aloud.
Bo, ever the standoffish one, folded his arms and said, "That's exactly what I'd like to know too."
Vincent, who had been observing silently, stepped forward and signed a question, his hands gracefully moving through the air. However, (Y/N) was caught off guard by the unfamiliar gesture and simply responded with a confused "Huh?"
Lester quickly intervened, introducing his brother. "That's Vincent," he explained, "He was just asking if you're okay."
Still somewhat disoriented, (Y/N) nodded uncertainly. "I think so?" She winced again, a hand gingerly touching the bandage on her forehead. It was clear she had many questions, but her priority was trying to make sense of the situation and her surroundings.
âSo how did you get out there.â Lester asks, he watches her brows clench and thatâs when his concern deepened as he watched (Y/N) struggle to recall her recent past. He leaned closer and gently asked, "I mean do you remember how you ended up out here in the woods? You're pretty far from town."
(Y/N) closed her eyes, trying to summon any memories that could explain her current situation. However, her efforts were in vain, and her frustration grew as she shook her head, her voice trembling as she admitted, "No, I don't remember."
Bo, always quick with a sarcastic remark, couldn't resist but quip, "Does she even know anything?"
(Y/N), taking Bo's question more seriously than intended, felt panic start to creep in. She tried to think back to her life, her home, her studies, but everything seemed to be shrouded in darkness, leaving only her name as a lone beacon of familiarity. Tears welled up in her eyes as the realization sank in that she couldn't recall anything else.
Vincent, noticing (Y/N)'s distress, reacted impulsively. He smacked Bo on the arm and then swiftly signed at him, "Look, you made her cry."
Bo's temper flared. "I ain't do a goddamn thing to that girl!" he retorted, defensive.
Lester, always the voice of reason among the brothers, interjected firmly, "Enough, you two! We need to help her, not argue." He moved closer to (Y/N) and spoke in a soothing tone. "Hey, it's okay. We'll figure this out together. Take a deep breath."
He reached out to offer her a comforting hand on her shoulder, hoping to ease her panic and bring some clarity to the situation.
Lester gently held (Y/N) in his arms, offering her a comforting embrace as she cried out her fear and confusion. His heart went out to her as he whispered soothing words. "It's okay, (Y/N), you're safe here. Everything's going to be alright. This is just a hiccup in the road. You'll remember, I'm sure of it."
She clung to his words, her sobs gradually subsiding. In his arms, she found a flicker of solace amidst the storm of her lost memories and newfound uncertainty.
Meanwhile, Bo's frustration had not subsided. He was growing increasingly impatient and wary of the stranger in their midst. He couldn't shake the feeling that (Y/N) was a threat, not just to Ambrose, but to all of them.
In the quiet of the kitchen, Bo took Lester and Vincent aside, his tone hushed but determined. "We need to get rid of her," he declared, his voice filled with urgency.
Lester frowned deeply, appalled by his brother's suggestion. "Bo, we can't just... get rid of her. She's clearly in trouble, and we need to help her."
Bo's eyes narrowed, his frustration boiling over. "She's a danger to Ambrose, and she's a danger to us all. We don't know who she is or what happened to her. We can't trust her."
Vincent, ever the voice of empathy and caution, hesitated. He signed his thoughts, "We need to be careful, but killing her? Donât you think thatâs a bit much?â
Bo was unwavering. "Think about it, Lester. We have no idea who she is or what she's involved in. We can't risk our safety, or Ambrose's."
Lester shook his head firmly. "No, Bo. I won't do it. We'll help her, keep her safe until she remembers. We can't resort to violence."
The tension in the kitchen grew palpable, as the three brothers faced a difficult decision that would shape their future and the fate of the mysterious (Y/N).
Bo's frustration reached its peak, and he reluctantly conceded. "Fine," he grumbled, his jaw clenched. "But she's your responsibility, Lester."
With those words, Bo turned on his heel and stormed out of the kitchen, the door slamming shut behind him. Vincent, sensing his twin's anger and knowing that arguing further would only escalate the situation, hurriedly followed, hoping to calm Bo down and find some common ground.
Lester was left alone in the kitchen, his thoughts swirling as he watched his brothers leave. He knew that taking care of (Y/N) was a responsibility he was willing to shoulder, even if it meant facing uncertainty and danger. She needed their help, and he was determined to be there for her, no matter what challenges lay ahead.

Inspired by bad idea right by Olivia Rodrigo!
Seeing the name âBo Sinclairâ pop up in her phone a couple of months after they had officially ended things was not something that Y/N expected during her night-in with her friends.
As the four of them were seated around her best friendâs coffee table, the loud text-tone of Y/Nâs phone broke the conversation that they were having and at first, she seriously debated ignoring it.
âIt canât be anybody important,â she said to the group. âItâs probably just my boss asking me to work a shift tomorrow!â
The three girlfriends giggled, each raising their eyebrow in a questioning manner.
âJust answer it!â One said, tossing the womanâs phone to her, one which she caught with expert accuracy.
âFine.â She huffed, a sound which was cut short when she read the texters name.
Thankfully, nobody noticed the way her eyes widened in both shock and confusion, the emotions intensifying the moment her phone began ringing.
Bo Sinclair is calling.
Answer. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Decline.
It was at that moment Y/N realised that she had never changed his contact image. It was still a photo she took of him whilst they were drunk in Ambrose.
âSorry,â she muttered to the group, leaving the room to answer the call.
It was as though her body was on autopilot as she answered the phone, his name falling from her lips just as easily as it had when they were a couple.
âBo? I havenât heard from you in a couple of months, is everything okay?â Y/N asked, assuming it must be bad for him to call her. After all, he was the one who broke up with her after they had an argument about him keeping secrets from her.
The line was silent for a moment, and she wondered if he had changed his mind, realised his mistake, and hung up. That was, until he spoke.
It wasnât anything huge, just her name, but it was enough to have her heart racing, past feelings resurfacing at the sound.
âThatâs me,â came her response, a forced chuckle shortly following.
âYou should come over.â He said.
âWhatâŠ?â
âYou heard me.â
The door to the room she was previously in opened, startling Y/N. She knew then that she had been caught, cheeks flushed and hands shaking; she simply prayed they wouldnât judge her too much.
âY/N?â Her best friend asked, smirking as she took in the appearance of the woman on the phone.
âThink about it, Darling. Iâve texted you my new address.â Were Boâs final words as he hung up the phone, the device suddenly feeling one-hundred times heavier than before.
âIs everything okay?â Rachel, her best and closest friend, asked with concern. âWho was that?â
With a harsh swallow, Y/N spoke. âThat was Bo.â
âBo? As in your ex? What did he want?â
âHe wants me to go over, just moved or something.â
âAt this time? You canât seriously be considering it, Y/N! Heâs your ex-boyfriend, for crying out loud!â Rachel exclaimed in shock, remembering how heartbroken her friend was when Bo broke up with her.
âYes, I know that heâs my ex, but canât two people reconnect?â Y/N asked. âI only see him as a friend!â The biggest lie I ever said, being her immediate thought after she finished speaking.
âYou canât be serious?â Rachel was clearly unimpressed with Y/Nâs choices but knew she was in no spot to say anything; everyone makes bad choices. âItâs a bad idea, right, but I canât stop you.â
With a smile, Y/N spoke. âFuck it, itâs fine.â
With a smile on her own face, Rachel repeated her words. âFuck it, itâs fine.â
*
As she reached Boâs new house in Ambrose, she hadnât expected him to be stood at the door with a small smirk, giving her reason to believe to he had been waiting for her to pull up.
âWhat did you tell your friends?â He asked, widening the door for her to enter the house.
âThat I was going home to sleep,â
âWell, you never said where or that you were in my sheets. I guess you could say you just tripped and fell into it.â He joked, still smirking.
âSeeing you tonight, itâs a bad idea, right?â Y/N spoke aloud, watching the way Boâs smirk widened at her internal debate. âI should probably not.â
âFuck it, itâs fine.â He said, as though he had heard the previous conversation with Rachel.
Watching Y/N stood in front of him once again had Boâs chest feeling a way that he wasnât used to feeling. He didnât miss her, no, no way! He only saw her as a friend, somebody to hook up with! The biggest lie he ever said.
Y/N watched as he stared at her, seemingly too deep in thought to even notice her moving towards him. Judging by the way he flinched as her hands landed on his shoulders, she knew he hadnât been paying attention at all.
Bo, who was now well-aware of her touch, leant in to connect their lips, his arm wrapping around her waist in an instant. The feeling of her lips against his after months apart had both parties reacting in ways that they didnât know were humanly possible.
One of Y/Nâs hands moved from his shoulder to the nape of his neck, fingers interlocking with his hair, tugging sharply as Bo bit on her lower, drawing a moan from her. Boâs free hand reached to toy with the fabric of her shirt, tugging it over her head.
âShould we go upstairs?â
*
Neither of them knew how to react.
Bo, who wasnât exactly the best at expressing his emotions, watched as the woman he still loved prepared to leave. He didnât want her to but didnât know how to express that without seeming âweakâ.
âYou donât need to go,â Bo muttered, almost too quiet for Y/N to hear.
âWhat do you mean?â
With a sigh, Bo knew he had to tell her the truth, no matter how much he didnât want to. âI donât want you to leave. Not again.â He admitted, cheeks warming at the confession.
âYou⊠donât?â She asked him, genuine curiosity and confusion in her orbs. âWhy?â
âBecause⊠Fuck are you really going to make me say it?â
âSay what, Bo?â
âBecause I still love you, okay!?â He yelled, and he was grateful that Vincent was visiting Lester that night. âI mean, fuck, Iâm- Iâm sorry, all right? I shouldnât have lied to you, but I was scared what you would say if you knew the truth.â
âThe truth about what?â
âEverything! The town, Vincent, Lester, meâŠ. If you knew the truth, youâd never look at me the same.â
As Y/N stared at him, concern evident, Bo winced slightly. He wasnât exactly used to expressing his emotions, especially not these types of emotions, but as she moved to sit beside him, he couldnât stop the words leaving his lips.
âPlease donât leave again, Y/NâŠâ
âI wonât, Bo, but only if you tell me the truth.â
Hi for the Soulmate Au could I request Bo Sinclair for this prompt please - You can hear your soulmate's voice in your head only when they're singing
Here's your fic, I hope you enjoy dear anon
Song Bird
Bo Sinclair x reader
Gender neutral reader
Soulmate AU where you can hear your soulmate's voice in your head whenever they sing.
Warnings: Canon typical violence, Bo being Bo I guess, mentions of his childhood trauma, I couldn't decide which retention of the song that I wanted to refer to in this so I picked both.
Bo remembered hearing growing up that soulmates came to each person in their own ways. He never really paid no attention to the stories to begin with, especially after asking about the ideal of soulmates to his mother when he was five years old, only giving Bo a harsh laugh before telling her son that he will never have a soulmate that will love him.
The combination of being a natural skeptic towards subjects like soulmates and how his parents constantly will tell Bo growing up that monsters like him don't deserve to have a soulmate caused Bo to avoid the subject altogether.
He never truly believed in the tales and stories from the people he grew up with until he heard his soulmate's voice when he was 17. The songs started with old church hymns that he remembered hearing throughout his childhood during Sunday church.
The voice he heard singing made the lyrics have a haunting atmosphere, as if the person he's hearing- his soulmate was hiding years of pain behind the melodic songs. It was too real for him hearing the singing of his soulmate fill his mind.
At first, Bo was rather annoyed with hearing the hymns as he's trying to listen to his small radio. Behind his initial annoyance was the fact that he had to deal with the fact that somewhere in this world, he has a soulmate and they could hear each other sing.
As the years went by, Bo could hear you sing more. From their various rock out to whatever rock mix tape they had, all the way to songs that he's never even heard of. Bo found those times where he hears the singing to be calming to him, giving him a sense of peace.
It was early one afternoon when Bo heard the voice sing. He was in the garage, piddling with a recent attraction's vehicle when he started hearing the singing. It was louder than usual, almost as if the source of the singing was haunting his brain. He tried to move on with his day, attempting to ignore the singing.
The phone from the garage started ringing, quietly startling Bo from his focus on the singing. He quickly wiped his hands with a grease rag before walking to the wall phone, picking it up. It was Lester informing him that there's a new arrival that just entered town. After hanging up, Bo decided to see if he could find the person and lure them.
The normally dead street made Bo more hyper aware of the singing he's hearing, he could hear the faint notes of a piano playing coming from the church. He quietly walked towards the entrance of the church. The singing became louder as he tried to resist the urge to sing the song with the voice.
Bo enters the church quietly, seeing the back of your body as you sat on the piano bench. Your black shirt and blue jeans was what Bo was mostly able to see as he made his way through the isle in the middle of the pews. His nerves filled his body as the temptation to sing with you grew louder and more intense.
He was right behind you just as you were going to finish the song. Bo gave into the intense temptation and sung the last few words with you. You quickly took your hands off the piano jumped just as you were about to finish the final word, causing you to look into Bo's eyes in a startled worry.
"I'm begging you please wake me up, In all my dreams I...."

Summary: The reader lives in Ambrose with the brothers. She goes with Bo one night to scare off some campers/frighten them towards Ambrose and she gets hurt.Â
I donât own these characters. They belong to author/director/creator
(not my gif)
The town of Ambrose was dead. The lonely streets were desolate and smelled of pine trees. The windows, even when they robotically moved, were vacant of any kind of life. The wax museum at the top of the hill was filled with lifeless eyes but they were the closest you had to any kind of human interaction.Â
Outside of the Sinclair's. The Sinclair's had enough life in them to fill up the entire town, to drown it with their actions and etch their own marking onto the world. The rest of the continent may be filled with towns that created economyâs but not Ambrose. Ambrose was a secret in itself. It made living there all the more entertaining. There was always something to discover, always something to unearth.Â
Bo liked to pretend the whole place was condensed down to the gas station and its immediate surroundings. He was standing behind the counter, finicking with a bolt and screwdriver. He had the wrench between his teeth as he looked down at it, eyebrows knitted in frustration and determination.Â
âYou see those guys down the road? Twenty miles up south?â Bo looked up to meet the eyes of his brother Lester. Following close behind him was you, causing the door to jingle above your head. Bo took the wrench out of his mouth and shook his head.Â
âNo I havenât been out,â he grumbled. âWhy? You guys been goin that far?â His southern drawl dipped into a bit of jealousy.Â
âNot like that. Just perusing,â Lester explained. âThey got a campsite. Like them kids from last summer, the ones trying to go to the football game?â Bo nodded. He remembered. Nearly gave him a run for his money too. Soon after that you came along, running away from life and looking for a new place to set down roots. You stumbled into a town that wasnât even on the map, knocking on hotels that didnât have any living owners. Bo found you there, showed you around, decided not to kill you.Â
It took you a moment to get used to the way the brothers did things but you had never felt like you belonged somewhere more.Â
âNever made it to the football game,â Lester laughed. You scoffed and walked up to the counter Bo was standing behind. You hoisted yourself up.Â
âOnly one car. We couldnât make out how many people there was but they didn't even notice that we were there,â you explained. Bo nodded once, looking forward. He met your eyes and you shrugged, gently letting him know that you thought it was safe. He hummed under his breath for a second and then cleared his throat.Â
âSounds interesting. Weâll keep an eye on it.â
âWe havenât done anything in weeks Bo. Itâs been a drought out here,â you complained. He kept his eyes on you, looking up through his lashes. He was daring you to push it. You wanted to. Lester let out a dramatic sigh.Â
âShe knows where it is. Just past the dump site.â
âYeah yeah.â Bo gave him a nod as a âthank youâ. Lester raised his hands in a small defensive plea and walked back out the gas station. The bell rang above his head to indicate his departure. Even though there were only four of you in the town it always felt like you all took up so much space. You were used to just being by yourself, walking by yourself, driving by yourself. Vincent had made sure you had defense against anyone that you could run into. You could defend yourself.Â
Lester leaving left a large space.Â
âDonât be antsy,â he mumbled. He had gone back to whatever he was working on at the desk. You turned around, craning your neck to watch him. His fingers were dirty with grease, his fingernails permanently black.Â
âIâm not being antsy.âÂ
âYou are. I can feel it,â he muttered. He glanced up at you, annoyed, and then backed down. You rolled your eyes and reached forward into his shirt pocket to pull out his pack of cigarettes.Â
âYouâre tense. Have a smoke,â you joked. He scoffed but you got a smile out of him. You nimbly pulled out one from the pack. He was low. He kept a drawer of them by his bedside until someone made it far out enough to buy more. They were a variety of brands. He had never been picky.Â
You offered it to him. He took it, continuing his mock annoyance, and put it between his teeth.Â
âYou gonna light it too sweetheart?â he questioned, muffled by the cigarette. You rolled your eyes and grabbed the lighter sitting on the desk. You tried it twice and it finally lit. He moved forward to the flame and the end of it smoked.Â
âThink on it. I think theyâll be gone by tomorrow though so donât think too long,â you said. He nodded, putting the smoke between his fingers. You pushed yourself off the desk and walked forward to the door. âI can go without you.âÂ
He gave you a warning look.Â
âWhat, flash some lights intimidatingly? Thatâs not a very hard job Bo.âÂ
âWatch it.â You backed off. You opened the door and stepped out.Â
âYes sir.âÂ
The bell dinged as you left.Â
-
You twirled your car keys on your finger. The sky had just turned into a cloudy overcast as you walked out of the House of Wax. You liked to watch Vince sculpt and he let you sit there, drinking a soda, leaned back in a comfy chair. You walked down the hill towards the church when Bo appeared, wearing his jumpsuit. He tilted his baseball hat down as a hello.Â
âWhatâre you doin up here?â
âHanging with Vince. What are you doin up here?âÂ
âLookin for you,â he explained. âSuns going down. Donât exactly wanna go with Lester out to that campsite.â Your eyes went wide in excitement. You really thought you were gonna have to go by yourself tonight and that was sure to create an argument in the morning. You were pleased that he had changed his mind or at least, gotten more used to the idea of you tagging along.Â
You smiled but other than that, didnât mention it.Â
âWe taking my car or yours?âÂ
âWhich one of mine?â You rolled your eyes and followed in stride with him down the hill.
âYou say theyâre yours as though you didnât steal them.â
âThey dropped the car keys on the ground,â he suggested. He gestured to the ground. âMiddle of the road. Abandoned.â He shook his head as he walked up to one of his trucks. He had finally gotten around to fixing the front headlight of it and could drive it out again. Not that he was against breaking the rules, he just didnât like driving a car that wasnât up to code. Old life habits you imagined.Â
You got into the passenger seat.Â
âYou got a knife?â You gave your combat boots a slap.Â
âAlways.âÂ
âSerrated?âÂ
âWhatever Lester gave me,â you said. âHe tried to tell me which one was better but I tuned him out.âÂ
âItâs good he has hobbies.â He turned on the car and it grumbled beneath you. It sputtered and then came to life. Bo turned the gear forward and then started to drive down the road until it hit the dirt. You watched out of the window as the sun started to fall. You were due a twenty minute drive, more or less, and by the time you arrived at the campsite it would be completely gone.
The trees passed you by in a blur. Ambrose was so far out from everything that you barely could recognize the difference between south and north. If it werenât all you now knew, youâd never be able to find yourself.Â
âYou fix that dodge?â you asked, leaning your head against the cool window.Â
âJust about. Have to get a couple things from the city,â he admitted.Â
âWell itâs a good thing we arenât paying rent,â you joked. He gave you a half smile, for your benefit.Â
âHow was Vincent?â he questioned, almost begrudgingly. You shrugged.Â
âHeâs good. Working on a new figure.â
âAlways,â he muttered.Â
âIt keeps him sane. We all have our vices.â
âYeah, whatâs yours?âÂ
âYou,â you said, smugly. He glanced over at you, taking his eyes clean off the road. âHow about you Bo? Whatâs your vice?â
âCars and beer.âÂ
âOh a typical southern man.â You pointed up the road. âTake a right up here.â The trees were now casting a dark shadow over the road. The sun was almost completely gone. âAre you armed?âÂ
âYeah,â he said. He reached into the glove box in front of you without a warning. You moved your knees, making an annoyed groan that had no heart in it.Â
âWhatâre you looking for?â
âKnife.â You rolled your eyes.Â
âLet me help.âÂ
âNo.â He moved his hands over your knees. You were wearing shorts, courtesy of the heat. Though you werenât sure how long it would last. Had you thought longer, you would have changed before night fell. But that required doing laundry and you wanted to avoid that as much as you could. Your bare knees brushed against his hand. Still greased, rough from the constant manhandling.Â
âBo.âÂ
âHere.â He grabbed the hilt of a covered knife. âBetter for slashing tires than yours.âÂ
âYou donât even know what Lester got me.âÂ
âI know this one is better.âÂ
You drove in comfortable silence for a while more. The music played quietly, some trashy dad rock. He turned it down as you approached, listening for your directions. Finally you came to a rocky stop. He left the lights on. You could hear laughter from your window that was cracked open. The faint crackling of a fire. Fun was being had in front of you.Â
âThis is my favorite part,â you whispered. Bo turned on the high beams and the laughter came to a slow stuttering stop. You sat up to see their faces. Two girls and two boys. Double dates. Camping trip gone wrong. You could imagine the headlines.Â
âHey! Can you turn off your lights? Youâre blinding us!â a voice called, a males. You sat up straighter to see but Bo put his hand in front of you. He gave you a warning look and you stopped moving. You settled into your seat.Â
âHey man!âÂ
There were more cries of protest. You watched Bo, watched as his face stayed steady. Calm. Focused.Â
Then he backed away. He pulled out of the dirt road and back down the street to wait for them to fall into deep sleep. They never followed the truck. You thought about that everytime you sat in it, wondering why they didnât just walk down the road to see it sitting there in wait. Moments like those made you feel better about what eventually happened to them. Silly humans, making silly decisions.Â
Bo parked in the shrouded part of the streets.Â
âWe really should put some blankets in the bed of the truck,â you suggested. You had taken off your seatbelt and put your feet up on the chair. You shouldâve brought a book or something. âWe sit here forever. We could take a nap.â
âBring an alarm clock?â
âYeah. Now youâre getting it.â He rolled his eyes. He had put his hat over his head to take a nap but you werenât letting him. He had finally just put it back to its rightful position and continued the conversation.Â
âYou know what else we could do in the bed?â You rolled your eyes.Â
âAlright alright.â You sat up. âHow long is this gonna take?âÂ
âThis is why you never come.â
âBecause I get bored of sitting here without a blanket, a book or a movie.â
âStop being childish,â he mumbled. He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a cigarette. He lit it easily, blowing the smoke out the window. He started the car.Â
âTime?âÂ
He didnât answer but he drove out of the spot, indicating that it was in fact, time.Â
-
He let you lead. He didnât usually like to. He wanted to be in control with his smug shit eating grin as you watched him walk around. The adrenaline would kick in when he got back into the car with you and the urge to kiss you was never higher.Â
Today he let you do it. He let you do the count, walk around the campsite like a grim reaper with all the cards in her hand. He watched, leaning against the car, as you stalked.Â
Bo was clear in his expectations. Check quickly for weapons and then make sure there was no one hiding in the tents when you had driven by earlier. He would grab the part of the car needed to get them to stay.
Your footsteps were light on the dewy grass. The only indication you were there was the moon, highlighting your outline.Â
You could feel Boâs eyes on you as you approached the first of two tents. It had a sheer roof. You could hear the even breathing of two sleeping people. One man, one girl. You were right on the dot, as you had been earlier.Â
You walked to the other tent. You wondered briefly what all the fuss was about as you saw the next one also had a sheer top. You glanced at Boâs outline. The only real indication he was there was the red cigarette butt between his fingers.Â
When you looked back at the tent you came face to face with an unfamiliar man.Â
You gasped.
It was the loudest thing in the night as you saw a face you had never seen before, tall, broad, scary. You had thought Bo was scary when you first met him but he was nothing compared to this man now.Â
He wasted no time and no questions. He threw a punch.Â
You hadnât been prepared for the confrontation and you had no time to retaliate. There was no knife in your hand when there should have been.Â
You stumbled back. There was a momentary blindness as you reached forward, throwing a punch that didnât have a location. You grabbed your nose, which was already bleeding. The man had moved forward for more but you could see something had stopped in.Â
A fight in the dead of night was so confusing. It was dangerous and it was blinding. Your eyes werenât caught up to the movement of the darkness. You were always going to be a step behind fast movement.Â
âCome on.â It was Boâs voice, his hand grabbing your arm and dragging you away. You cursed, hand still over your face. You hit the truck and he let you go to get in your passenger seat. Bo pulled away, tires grumbling under the rock road. He drove quickly out of the scene. For once you were glad they didnât think to follow.Â
âThey didnât see your face. It was too dark.âÂ
You passed a street light. There was blood all over your hands.Â
Darkness.Â
âIâm sorry I didnât hearâŠâ Another street light. Dimmer one this time, like it was about to go out. You saw the blood on Boâs knuckles as they gripped the steering wheel.Â
Bo pulled over when he thought it was safe enough. He didnât tell you that but you could tell that he had been itching to pull over for miles. He turned on the overhead light and got out of the car. You stayed put as he walked around the front, opening up the passenger door.Â
âWhatâs hurtin?â he questioned lowly. He removed your hand forcefully. The blood trickled down your fingers and onto your lips.Â
âMy nose,â you whispered. He shook his head, reopening the dashboard. He had napkins shoved in there.Â
âDonât move.â He gently put his hand over your nose. âItâs gonna bruise. It ainât broken.â You nodded slowly. You felt the natural tears well up in your eyes from the pain and the adrenaline wearing off. You pushed them aside, from fear of being weak in front of Bo. âFucking hell,â he muttered. âThatâs why you arenât allowed to come along.â
âI can fight them when theyâre in Ambrose,â you argued. âI thought they were all asleep. I saw two of them knocked o-â
âNot asleep enough. We shouldâve waited, if you hadnât been fuckin pestering me then we-â
âDonât blame this on me! I was the one who got punched!â
âAnd I was the one who had to save your ass!â He backed up, shaking his head. He looked younger in the dim lighting of the dome bulbs. âIâm takin you back.â Before you could protest he walked to the other side of the car.Â
âWhere are you going?â
âIâm gonna go kill the fucker.âÂ
âBo-â
âItâs gonna happen eventually, Iâm gonna make it sooner. Ainât no one allowed to hit you and get away with that.â You were still holding the napkins to your nose.Â
âIâm fine.â
âYouâre not.â His voice was harsh. You would think he was angry at you if his words werenât so genuine. âDonât fuckin lie to me.âÂ
âIâm not lying.âÂ
âSweetheart câmon.â He glanced at you. He took a turn sharply. You were going way faster now than you had been on the way over. You guessed it would only take another five minutes to get back to town. âIâll leave you with Vincent and you stay there alright?âÂ
You nodded. You didnât wanna argue.Â

Bo came back when dawn came. You were in between consciousness, still feeling the effects of your eventual concussion. You heard him come into the house. The screen door was loose and made noise when it shut. You sat up, hair strayed from tossing and turning.Â
You could hear Bo take off his boots. As he walked his steps became more labored. You met his eyes as he entered your bedroom. You waited.Â
âHeâs dead.âÂ
âIâm sorry.â He shook his head.Â
âYou okay?â You nodded. He sat down beside you, swinging his knee up so he could get closer. He put his hand on your cheek, brushing your nose with his thumb as he examined your face. âBruised.âÂ
âYou said that last night.â
âI wasnât sure. Iâm sure now.â You nodded. He kept his hand on your cheek, making sure there was no other damage.Â
âThanks Bo,â you whispered. He nodded.Â
âDonât fuckin do that again âlright?â You nodded back.Â
âScouts honor.â He smiled smugly. He was loopy and tired. He could fall asleep sitting up. He took off his hat, removing his hand from your face. He ran his fingers through your hair. âSleep,â you whispered.Â
âHere?â
âWhy not? You saved my life tonight Bo.âÂ
âYou think I deserve a kiss for that?â The smug smile returned. You rolled your eyes and sat forward, putting your hand on his shoulder.Â
âI think I could arrange that.âÂ
He turned his head and kissed you. The morning light seeped through the light curtains of your window. The sunrise promised a new day. You just wanted to go back to sleep. You cupped his cheek, leaning into his lips. You had always known Bo would be a good kisser but feeling it in action was a different story. You pulled away for air and put your forehead against his.Â
âSleep. I think Iâm concussed.â He scoffed, giving you a low chuckle.
