So I made a Whiteboard out of boredom recently, and I decided to redesign some of my demigod OCs along with Thana. And then I thought ‘might as well share my ideas and characters somehow’.
So here’s everything I’ve got for Demigods & Orbs.
Oh and for some context before I ramble on about these characters:
This is a story that mainly takes place either on Earth, or this almost nebulous void that houses these things called Orbs.
In Demigods & Orbs, the Orbs are countless books, video games, cartoons, just pretty much anything that constitutes as a story that holds a world or universe within it that are each individually simplified to these floating, white spheres that only demigods - or another creature if they’ve been granted permission from a demigod - can enter into and can exit out of whenever they so please.
It’s basically just an excuse for me to make a lotta crossovers. Now with that in mind-
Here we got Drewy, the oldest of the other demigods in our galaxy, the main brains of the demigods, and a real stick in the mud.
Drewy’s job is to make sure that the Orbs are protected and not messed around with. And because of that, he’s basically ‘all work no play’ no matter what. Even when he’s not working, he still has that strict mentality.
So he and Noname don’t exactly see eye-to-eye on each other’s opinions. Speaking of which,-
Noname is a demigod who’s first action he made once he came into existence was summoning and throwing a meteorite at the dinosaurs. He was then forced by Drewy into the position of overseer of the Earth as punishment because of this.
Naturally, this job bores and frustrates Noname to no end, so he’ll usually just slack off whenever he feels like it (which is almost all the time). He has gone into many different Orbs, but there are a few he keeps returning to just because they make him feel more grounded and relaxed, such as the Orb that contains the Imagisphere.
But besides that and the occasional visits to hang out with Thana, Noname has only really hung out with two demigods, one of which being-
This lady here named Boa-Rosa! She came to existence around the same second as Noname did, so they’re very familiar with one another.
Her job is to check up on the other demigods to make sure everything is going smoothly, and if it’s not she’s supposed to report it to Drewy as soon as possible.
Boa-Rosa is a pretty nice demigod and she’s the only person so far to be allowed to pet Noname. However she can be pretty indecisive on a lot of things, especially during moments of conflict.
Now here we have the youngest demigod, Damien. And lemme tell ya, he’s a HUUUUUGE jerk.
He doesn’t do anything except whatever he wants, which is mainly just annoying others and overall give off some bad vibes. Not evil vibes, just terrible vibes.
And because of his annoying presence, the other demigods don’t really interact with him, including-
This demigod named Vio. Vio came to existence around the time of the Bubonic Plague, so they’re...familiar with our tragedies.
Vio is a very reserved and unknown being, having no clear purpose or reason in being here. But they still try to make the most out of their existence by just trying to be there in case anyone needs help.
They don’t know much about Noname or Damien, and they choose to mainly stick with either Drewy or Boa-Rosa.
Now here we’ve got Pierre, a demigod who’s only slightly older than Noname and Boa-Rosa by like 20 minutes. His job is to spot out any potential threats that could harm either the Orbs, the demigods, or both.
Him and Noname actually had a relationship at some point, but it didn’t last long. They’ve become pretty good friends though.
And whenever he has the time, Pierre likes to visit Noname’s best friend, which is the last character on this list-
Thana Naomi Quills is a rambunctious “human” child who’s best friends with Noname. She’s an only child with only her dad and is homeschooled. Thana enjoys going on adventures with Noname and, in general, likes to interact with the other demigods.
Noname was also the first of the demigods to realize she has powers similar to basic demigod powers, but he never questions her about it because he doesn’t think it’s all that important or concerning (if her dad, a 100% human, could live through her powers, than it’s most likely nothing to fret over).
But overall, Thana’s a pretty energetic kid who’s favorite animal is sheep, who’s favorite power of hers is phasing through walls, and who thinks all clowns are bad guys for some reason.
But yeah, that’s all I’ve got so far. I hope y’all thought this was at least decent and I hope y’all have a good day/night!
