Over 740,000 LED wall washers and projection lamps have been installed and switched on in Haikou, the capital of south China’s Hainan Province during this year’s #Boao Forum for Asia (BFA). The towering buildings and flashing LED screens overlook the sandy beaches and coconut trees, which are the main attractions of the resort town. The 2017 Annual Conference of the BFA is being held this week under the theme of “Globalization and Free Trade: The Asian Perspectives”. Political and business leaders from over 20 countries and international institutions are joining the many discussions tackling monetary policy, financial technology as well as real estate market issues. #hainan #resort #boao

The small town of Bo’ao, located in China’s southern coastal city of Qionghai in Hainan. The once small fishing town has since been transformed into a major vacation resort and conference destination.
