Part of my research currently requires understanding boat lines so here's a rather tedious but useful project taking the boat lines for the Hercules steam tug, tracing them, and then importing them to blender to create a 3D model. It's not a perfect example due to some other issues, but I tend to learn things better by sometimes just doing it the tedious and hard way the first time, so this has been very useful for my general understanding. Working on now translating this to a proper 3D model.
